Another poster, @APersonAPerson4567 who is not able to post in the politics forum suggested this podcast regarding some background for the possible originators of the QAnon phenomena. I haven't listened to all of it yet, it's about an hour long.

Reply All podcast: A Country of Liars #166 Link to the media site here: https://gimletmedia.com/shows/reply-all

+1 to this podcast - Reply All does a great job actually interviewing the parties who build 8chan and they really nicely break down the mechanisms used to steer the conspiracy.

Worth a listen, great recommendation.

What you have to understand is.....The Federalist is a libtard rag written by Swamp People!  WWGWGA!!!!!*

* Nevermind that the Federalist society is also HAPPILY riding the train of Trump-supporting idiocy to get more of its favored judges appointed....judges who (again, the fucking irony) by and large don't favor a true Federalist approach at all, but rather support an authoritarian Executive.

Qanon and the Federalist all smear shit on their own faces, the only difference is how runny it is.  Don't let the quality of the Federalists' firm, double-tapered turd distract you from the complete indignity of them smearing that same fucking turd all over their own faces and everything else they can touch to "own the libs" (although they use better vocabulary to say that).

federalist website and federalist society aren't related, aside from providing cover for billionaires to privatize all the gains in society for themselves while socializing the cost onto the rest of us.

Man who repeatedly posted QAnon-linked slogan #SaveOurChildren on his Facebook page is charged with murdering his girlfriend's infant daughter

  • Joshua Jennings, from Yukon, was initially charged with child abuse but the charge was later upgraded to first-degree murder
  • Jennings was arrested on Friday after the baby, 10-month-old Paisley Cearly, was taken to the emergency clinic by her mother
  • The baby died on Saturday
  • The ardent Trump supporter has several posts declaring his support for #SaveOurChildren
  • Hashtag has grown in prominence as QAnon supporters try to recruit pro-life fans into believing Democrats are running sexual cults

Read the page of TexAgs after Trump tested positive.   I can’t even sum it up, other than full on aggy.

Is that real?

1)  A sizable portion of our population is clinically fucking insane.

2) Aggy represents a significantly above-average element of that insane portion of society.

There's not way to read that shit and not realize that these people are 100% fucking nuts.

It is the oddest thing. I've caught myself following rabbit holes on the web, and folks here are really good about pointing out various sources to check legitimacy and veracity. But I noticed when reading that they have a QAnon thread and then a separate thread that is a 'safe space to criticize the QAnon.' So essentially, the QAnon people and the people that would offer other POV don't really interact. Made me go hmmmm, because it seems that is a problem all around nowadays. The QAnon people need to learn fact vs fiction and testable thoughts.

@ndawg I don't know what that means.

Man, I thought you guys were being hyperbolic on other threads when you'd mention how crazy Texags had gotten.  But yeah, just read that one page, that's all I need to see for a year from those lunatics?  What the fuck?  Those are college educated Texans that I walk past everyday and that's the shit coming out of their brains?  How do they recruit faculty to come and teach science and engineering at the place with that fucking website popping up?

Is there a way to turn the ampersand in A&M into a Q?

No, keep the T in the middle. My spouse says it has to do with the money machine. The concern is that they are outpacing UT on numbers of alumnae since they have freshman enrollment coming in at 10,000 plus since 2014. Their retention rate is improving so you're not getting the same drop out rate either.

My cousin's boyfriend failed out of A&M recently.  I thought of that Chris Rock bit and looked at him like a betamax and said, "Holy shit, they still make you?"

I just assumed everybody could coast through there without any independent thought.  And I look at texags today, and I think I'm still right.

Yep.  It's turning into a "zero standards" diploma mill, and quite quickly.

For all the fun we make of them, it's sad.  It's one of our major state universities, and it's as if they're in a one-man race to the bottom.  It's not just that they HAVE idiocy - it's that they cultivate it, and claim it as an essential part of their culture.

I think if we redid the old "Aggy Soothsayers Revisited" thread from Hornfans in 2021 it wouldn't be nearly as funny.

They have a thread on there about the Air Force flying some aircraft with their transponders on, because they are concerned the Russians will do something now that Trump has the covid.  Some other aggy tried to explain that they always have those types of aircraft flying somewhere 24/7, but didn't matter, Trump's health is the only thing saving us from nuclear annihilation or something.

Some acquaintances recently posted a pic on facebook from a group lunch. Almost all are UT grads. One of them had on a QAnon t-shirt. I would like to think that was worn as a joke but I don't think so. I think less of the people I know at that lunch.

If I found myself in that situation, I don't think I could keep my mouth shut. And I sure as hell wouldn't pose for a picture with them.

Apparently Hope Hicks getting it has the QAnon/White Supremacist crossover groups excited too. (the letter 'H' is the eighth letter so 88). The President is supposed to be out of the way so that people can be arrested.

I've been hearing for years how Trump was going to have Hillary and the other satan-worshipping pedophiles arrested.  Maybe it'll be a December surprise.

I don't understand, why would Trump have to be "out of the way" for people to get arrested?

I don’t know. I can’t really follow the thought processes although they all seem to have some sort of hyper awareness that makes them ‘get’ whatever these perfectly normal events have that make them clues.

I think it was @Hugo Stiglitzthat explained once about the 88 significance; I know it and 14 are big with the white is right crowd.

The best I can tell about the Pres is that the Q people think he needs to be safe because they keep talking about Red October. I think the red is supposed to stand for a bloodbath/civil unrest. Rather gruesome to me, but it all seems like a big cosplay to them. (Maybe it doesn’t and they seriously want to kill people, but I don’t live in their reality so who knows.

So since this is the Q thread. Does Trump really have covid? Is this the start of the 10 days of darkness where Trump is doing this to stay out out of the way while indictments are rolled out? The timing of this seems bizarre and a bit off.
If Trump is admitted to the hospital and Durham starts arresting Dems, Trump cant be held responsible

😃

that is some of the most wheels off shit i've ever read on a message board.

It doesn't make any sense that someone with corona virus would ride around in a car to be paraded in front of his supporters. That means either Trump doesn't have corona virus or that was a body double yesterday. Perhaps both.

Either way, one must conclude that Trump is actively working on arresting the Satan-worshiping pedophiles in charge of the global child sex trafficking ring. He knows that the election next month is rigged, so he must complete his mission.

The Storm is coming.

I can only read so much before I have to bail! I don’t know any Q people personally; it must be a trip to listen to them.

It is a trip, although once they know you think they're nuts, they tend to downplay the crazier shit, and are "just asking questions".  But they still try to pass this shit around to other family members, and all you can do is joke about how Trump seems to be waiting until he's out of office before he has Hillary arrested.

What's messed up, is that on some level they know it's dumb, but the QAnon cult has a thing about you can't dispute any of it.  You're in for the whole ride.

In a perfect world, those log-on attempts would link them to child porn sites under Interpol surveillance.
