I imagine it was a touching scene when Miller said to Trump, "Mr. President, it would be an honor if you would invoke your right of prima nocta."

I do not believe the President is capable of exercising that right anymore so he might need to use the line of succession principle. Oh wait.

Trump will never have the approval rating that Obama does/did. That's got to eat at him.

Sure he will, among republicans.  Shit, it's higher* among them than Reagan or W was.  And that's all (well, er, the Senate GOP as well) that matters

*I'm not looking it up. Maybe I'm wrong.  But I doubt it.

Honest Donnie is more popular than Lincoln among fucking assholes:

A majority of Republicans say President Trump is a better leader than former President Lincoln, according to this week’s Economist/YouGov weekly tracking poll. Fifty-three percent of Republicans said Trump was a better president than Lincoln, while 47 percent chose the Civil War-era leader. Lincoln still overwhelmingly beats Trump among all Americans, 75 percent to 25 percent, with the vast majority of Democrats and independents choosing the former president.

Well, most Republicans actually hate Lincoln so that's not surprising.

I'm reminded of my ex-wife's grandmother in Tennessee who didn't have single good word to say about Lincoln.  Sweet old lady, but damn, don't get her started on Lincoln.  I wonder how much of that still persists in the South.

There is no racism in America anymore. If anything, America has swung the other way and is racist towards white men!

@Johnny Sack out front shoulda told ya

I don't know.  I think Lincoln being a Republican is sort of like having one black friend.  They get to be as racist as they want, and use it as a get-out-of-racism-jail-free card.

Something to remind us of when we see an all-white Trump rally where they're chanting "Send them back!" about 4 black and brown Americans.

Replace "Lincoln" with "Obama" and you'll get an idea of just how much the south hasn't changed.

You need to realize that the "far-left" you talk about is not really as far left as you think, especially within the context of other governments around the world. Governments with far higher standard of living metric scores than us. They are not crazy, they are only viewed that way because the far-right (and yes, they are that far right) has marketed them as such to scare voters away from them. Especially since the large special interests that fund the GOP do not want the regulations that Sanders and Warren would bring about which would put our economy in a better balanced situation (similar to pre-Reagan America) and take away their competitive advantages.

So are you saying that our economy was “better balanced” before Ronald Regan came into office? If so please tell me how.  Thanks.

Never mind the fact that the Republican Party in 1865 was not the same as the Republican Party of today.  "Lincoln freed the slaves and he was a REPUBLICAN" goes hand in hand with "Nazis were socialists, it's right there in the name!".

Fat, dumb, and stupid is no way to go through life.

Um yeah, I will. The economy was a disaster in 2016. The numbers were all bogus. However in February of 2017 the economy turned around and the numbers became real again. I'm surprised y'all don't remember this.

Yes, I remember.  U3 was a horrible metric for unemployment, right up until 1/20/2017.  It's funny how these things shift over time.

that is some odd analysis. So of the last 15 Presidents none have spoken any higher than an 11th grade level?

Heard a while back that most journalism isn’t printed at above an 8th grade level. If you go too far most of your audience ends up tuning out.

Example of some 11th grade level words:  coalesce, aberration, commiserate, ameliorate.

How many presidents do you recall using words like that?

Staying at Doral for a conference.  What a dump.  The bounty is $500 for anyone filmed pissing on a Public Trump sign.

I’m already out $1k.  And had to throw in public bc I was immediately inundated with dudes pissing on stationary in their room.  And obviously if your lil pecker is in the video the offer is null and void (huge schlongs are good).

Did you try it?  Oh, you know what I’m talking about... this bad boy.
