what does this mean?

This is what happens when Dotard has more than one thought in his head. The stream of consciousness just flows right on out into that verbal diarrhea that sounds like something a person would say that's drunk or hopped up on some meds.

LOL he's trying to sow division between the progressive left and the moderates in that tweet. But at the same time, painting Biden as a moderate goes directly against his "Biden is a socialist puppet" message. So what comes out is a jumbled, limp-dicked mess. Per usual. He's so incredibly stupid.

Sure would be nice if the Democrats took the Senate so they could pursue charges against Trump and his team of merry law breakers.  I'd love for them to drag Barr into court under oath.

Don't need the senate for that, just a non-corrupt AG. I do look forward to the day that both parties get past this political spy vs. spy fetish we are in right now.

Flynn was considered a double agent since he worked for another government.  That's a conflict of interest, different from DOTARDS conflicts of interest but one that is still compromised.  DOTARD is compromised with his relationship with Putin--having Russian translators and with no transcripts of their conversations isn't Kosher.  This isn't a both sides debate.  Besides, Republicans investigate Democrats every administration as a diversion--it's what they do.

Just completed a 2100 mile round trip to Colorado and back from Austin. Mostly stayed off the interstate, and took two different routes for most of it.
Between  Austin and Granby Colorado I saw a grand total of nine Trump/Pence signs. Of those, 5 were on two properties. In August 2016 that probably would have been closer to 200.

Of course I saw no Biden signs at all, and I’m not pretending that the Panhandle and North Central Texas won’t go for Trump.
But- based on my view of ~1700 miles of rural highway and small towns, they sure as shit don’t seem proud of it.

did an unplugging getaway this weekend near Marble Falls and saw several Trump/Pence signs. His base is out there. Just hoping those opposed go out and vote.

These family stories break my heart. I don't know how Thanksgiving is going to be for some of you this year, but I hope at least we're all alive for it.

About the only good thing to come out of Covid, is that I can't imagine we're doing the big family dinner, and I won't have to listen to my Trumpy uncle who never shuts up about politics.

so i heard a clip on the radio of trump speaking today, that "the only way he loses the election is if it's rigged."

just breezed through the past few hours of posts and didn't see that clip.  guess that shows us where we are.  seems totally normal to bring up rigged elections as often as he does.

It follows the same pattern he perfected with calling everything that painted him in a bad light as fake news. Now, he's been able to make a large portion of our society act like anything not glowing of Trump is fake news. He'll do the same with the election. Keep saying how it's rigged over and over and then when he loses, he can say "well it was rigged, people should do something about how rigged it was" and then we'll see people actually try to thwart the authenticity of the election results. This is why I hope Biden just absolutely destroys him. It's the only way to not have to deal with all the bullshit he'll try to throw out.

A landslide D win, that’s the only way there’s not bloodshed in November I’m convinced.

Sadly, Trump controls the outcome either way.  If Trump “wins”, there will very likely be massive rioting across the country.  If Trump loses, he will have an opportunity to deliver a crushing blow to the country simply by implying the election was rigged; his followers will do as he asks, so all he has to do is encourage violence, and it will happen. The good thing is that his base is rural so it would really take some unexpected organization and effort for them to be as disruptive as the other side.

I am very concerned about our country.  We may very well be <90 days away from a civil war.

And as horrifying as it is to hear that from a sitting president, it's also coming from someone who would lose the election by about 150 EVs if it were held, non-rigged, tomorrow. In reality we all know it's the only way he wins. Once again, nothing but projection.

Didnt see this posted yet. So very on brand for the Trump campaign. Fucking up everything they come in contact with.

Quote

A boat on the Willamette River took on water and sank Sunday afternoon after being swamped by waves as a “Trump Boat Parade” passed.

Video posted to Twitter showed the boat taking on water as its occupants called for help while more than 20 boats and personal watercraft flying President Donald Trump flags headed south on the Willamette River near downtown Portland.

Sgt. Bryan White, a spokesman for the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, said river patrol deputies responded to the incident but that the people on the boat had already been picked up by other boaters in the area by the time the deputies arrived. Video appeared to show at least one of the boats that stopped to help was a parade participant.

White said no one was injured and the agency wouldn’t be investigating further. He said the swamped boat wasn’t part of the parade.

I'd be fine with them dragging Barr behind the woodshed and beating the ever living fuck out of his droopy dog ass.

If you haven’t listened to the podcast “It Could Happen Here,” you should.

That's just going to depress the f'k out of me.  What the hell does he campaign on when he doesn't even try to unite the country?  He can campaign on civil war and it wouldn't matter.  He's said on multiple occasions he has the invisible majority--nothing to see here.  My family is still going to both sides it during a Civil War.

Edit: He wants a civil war, which is why he's floating the idea of giving a victory speech at Gettysburg.  Clue, the Confederates lost that battle.

It's straight out of Goebbels playbook. Amazing that so many people can't see it unfolding right in front of us.

They probably can. They just don’t care. Because they want to believe him.

Trump is a moron overall, but he’s an absolute genius at homing in on desperate stupidity and feeding it what it craves. There’s a huge bloc of insecure, unsophisticated, angry Americans. Trump identified his marks long ago and he has played them beautifully.

And the thing is, he didn’t really con them. Oh, he might not deliver on any material promises. And the rest of us will point that out and shout “He lied to you! You’re voting against your own interests!” But the truth is Trump gave his rubes exactly what they really wanted all along: vengeance on their cultural enemies.

Yeah I mean it's happened before. More than once. No reason it can't happen here as well.

I used to laugh off the comparisons to Hitler as hyperbolic. The further along we get, the more real it gets. A second term scares the hell out of me.
