I remember Kiss got all the religious zealots wound up. Knights In Satan's Service. Wake up sheeple!

I think they had strokes when Motley Crue released Shout at the Devil. But thankfully Stryper came along to rescue metal from Satan.

Same dude of "NATAS" fame fucking blasted Stryper on our trips to track meets through a giant boom box.  Like it'd be 5:30 in the morning on the way to Sulphur Springs or some place and he'd be blasting that trying to convert the whole bus.  The only way he was able to get away with it is he owned the boom box and second, we all got to play something in it, but his turn was always a little longer.

That’s the rub though...lolz.

I’m off minding my own business discussing Astros, Cowboys, and Swingers when I get a notification from this thread, in which I rarely if ever post, because it’s obvious AF what you’re going to get.  Then I see the post that calls me out by name, without any prior provocation on my part, for something I absolutely did not say.  I call out the poster for it, and remind him of something he made up  a few weeks ago, that also involved my kids, which I admittedly post about too much on here, but the allegation was completely false.

So then the joke becomes ‘Gil and Slorch need to bump dicks.’  Well Slorch was minding his own fucking business when homeboy called him out.  If this is a self-policing board and I do subscribe to that theory; I don’t run to the Bellmont Forum and call ffor the poster to be banned or punished.  That’s horseshit too.  I simply called the poster out as a liar.Maybe that matters to people, maybe it doesn’t  It’s cool.   Behavior duly noted.

I fuck up enough on my own, but I own it. I don’t need people just making shit up Like they write for the Atlantic.  In the end, it’s just a message board, but there needs to be a shred of integrity, no?  And of course, the irony of the thread and these talking points is not lost on me.

Happy Monday, all.

i dyed in the wool republican bitching about lies and people making shit up, screaming for INTEGRITY!

we are in a simulation.

So, y'all have seen the Trump ad about "violent Biden supporters?"  It literally ends with a scene of Biden kneeling with a bunch of black thugs, followed by a statement "STOP JOE BIDEN AND HIS RIOTERS."  Wait, did I say he was kneeling with some black thugs?  I meant -- he was fucking kneeling with black religious leaders in an actual church.  There's literally an altar and cross behind him in the photo.

This is how racist and shitty this regime truly is.  It takes an image of black religious leaders, IN CHURCH, and deems them a bunch of rioters.

As you might expect, the folks at the Bethel AME church in Wilmington (location of the photo) didn't take too kindly to the naked fucking evil racism of this shitty regime: https://religionnews.com/2020/09/14/response-to-trump-campaign-ad-featuring-bethel-ame-church-in-wilmington-delaware/?fbclid=IwAR21wjPzIfV95Et1ZVQ3kr8ezHi_oq8zqvwM8BFbIy24G9dzXMmk_LG0jpM

Know this: if you stand with or support this regime, you support demonization and terrorism against black churches.  Fucking black CHURCHES.

Fuck you to hell.

@Johnny Sack, who is totally not a racist, loves that ad.

These people are insane.

Guessing you are talking about Caputo and all the folks like him.  They are not insane.  They are just trying to get their boy re-elected.  Now the people that listen to them and believe what they are saying....yeah they are fucking insane.  Unfortunately, we are discovering that there are like 60 million of those insane people living amongst us.  I had a neighbor (a middle aged Dallas suburban mom) post on Facebook a picture of herself holding a rifle standing in her front yard daring someone to try and take her Trump yard sign.  This is what we have come to.

And the GOP elected officials won't spit it out.

How much danger they must be in to stoop to anything to try to keep office. It must be fear of prison. It's been a little while since I've thought about this, but only a criminal operation would go to these ruthless lengths to survive.

This statement just about calls for the creation of Brown Shirts to protect us from the Commie insurrection. Trump wants to deploy federal forces to quell protest "fast."

The Republicans are all systems go to test the chain of command.

"General, I order you to deploy soldiers to election sites to protect them from insurrectionists. Enemies wish to overthrow the republic."

"General, we must have soldiers deployed to quell the lawless rioting and property destruction threatening to destroy Democrat run cities where enemies of the United States are trying to seize control."

"As president and with the backing of the Senate, I call for citizen militias to form for the protection of the republic. As president, I cannot allow radical socialists to undermine our freedom and democratic institutions."

Soldiers won't be ordered to literally undermine the republic. Their literal orders will be to save it. If the Army is thrown into disarray or follows the order, we got trouble. If the Army fails to deploy under the president's command, the militias will. First they'll go after the black thugs, of course. Germans go after Jews; Americans go after black people.

We're hurtling toward a moment of truth wrapped in lies and decided by morons.

People will do quite a bit to stay out of prison. Anyone in the trump administration with half a brain recognizes that if trump is no longer the president the chance for prosecution of their obvious criminal acts goes way way up.

It’s my theory as to why Kennedy was killed. It wasn’t some grand conspiracy involving the mob, Russians, Cubans, etc. . It wasn’t even LBJ himself. But there were certain people who needed LBJ to be the president so they could then most likely avoid prosecution and jail time.

Same reason why Epstein was killed. Fear is the greatest motivator of all.

Caputo’s ties to the Russian Government are remarkable and that’s merely what is on the top of his Wikipedia page.  Also remarkable how much the Trump administration never sees these connections as liabilities but assets.

Haven’t read the article linked above yet, but this is shocking, although not surprising.

And.....Caputo needs to go to prison for this.  He is inciting violence and insurrection.  18 USC Ch. 115:

Quote

§2383. Rebellion or insurrection

Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 808; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, §330016(1)(L), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2147.)

He should be arrested the moment that Biden is sworn in.

Is there any point in following Rex Chapman on Twitter or do all of his tweets get posted here?

I hope they all get posted here as the fucker still has me blocked.  I originally thought it was because I may have posted an anti-Trump reply awhile back (before Rex went political), but he and I seem to pretty much be aligned politically according to his tweets that I see here. So I'm still not sure why he blocked me.

Donald Trump has no intention of paying you on Tuesday. He'll make you sue him for the price of today's hamburger. Which he knows you won't do. So he gets a free hamburger.

I will gladly pay you in two weeks for a hamberder today.

Well to be fair, between Trump, Biden, Kim, and Putin...yes...Putin is by far the most mentally fit to serve as a head of state.  But that also begs the question, how fucking stupid is Trump that continues to be Putin's bitch year after year after year.

The current President of the United States effectively yelled "FIRE!" inside of a crowded nation, but it's cool with his base because  afterwards he told Bob Woodward, "We don't want to cause a panic."

I love that our country can sustain having the 21 million functionally retarded Trump voters walk around among us.  We are truly the melting pot.

But what if it was a bowl of grape nuts?  No grapes, no nuts...about to become all shit.  What's the deal?

Seriously, what were we talking about again?

I actually had an interesting conversation this morning with some students at UT as I was lecturing.  Two African American students in particular, both of whom play for our basketball team.  They said (and keep in mind I am massively paraphrasing)...the issue with DEI (Diversity, Engagement, and Inclusiveness) is it focuses way too much on the D---the Diversity.  That's not the issue.  We have plenty of diversity in this country.  We have plenty of people of color, plenty of immigrants, plenty of religions, plenty of nationalities, sexual orientations, genders, etc.  We got that part down pat.  Our issue is giving those diverse peoples the tools to succeed with a seat that the table.  It's a subtle, but important distinction.  It really blew me away how they framed it.  Anyway, we are melting pot.  But we let the broth bullies control the pot.  That's gotta end.

He then ran through a series of conspiracy theories, culminating in a prediction that Mr. Trump will win re-election but his Democratic opponent, Joseph R. Biden Jr., will refuse to concede.

“And when Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin,” he said. “The drills that you’ve seen are nothing.” He added: “If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get.”

Wait, in this scenario, Trump wins, Biden doesn't concede... and then we're inaugurating Biden? Then the shooting starts because Trump won't leave? That makes no sense.

"I don't think science knows actually." ???  Really.

You can debate the solutions of climate change, I don't agree with many of them...lord knows.  But to say Science can't weigh in on it because it doesn't know?

You Trumpers realize that when he hears the word "Meteorologist"...he hears "Meat Orologist" or one who studies Trump steaks.  Or perhaps even one who gives hard cock to Melania and Ivanka.

It'd be interesting to see what would happen if one of those officials there just lost their shit and started cussing at him. He's already not going to give any help, might as well tell him to his face in front of a camera what a stupid fucking idiot he is.

If he loses, I could see this happening in his last weeks in office.  Of course, he'll spend most of that time ransacking what's left of the nation and readying his flight out of the country.  Can't imagine he would spend much time talking to anyone outside his cronies.

that's a little too comical, even for my taste.  But the best part really is to start driving the point home to his supporters that, "You should still vote for him, wear his hats, put up his flags and yardsigns, plea with your family members to support him alongside you, etc."  But Lincoln shines a light on the fact, albeit not as strongly or as effectively as their other productions...at least stop sending him money.  The 500% match thing, the prosperity political gospel, that he's using his own funds to win, etc.  It's all bullshit.  I mean, stay passionate, forward his clickbait, watch his rallies, all that shit.  But stop sending cash.  It's a complete rouse.  It's not going to his campaign, it's going into people's pockets.  Virtue signal with flags or stickers, but don't send in hard-earned cash.

There isn't really some benevolent right winger matching all this money at a 5x clip, Trump isn't really taking the proceeds from his massive successful business ventures to fuel this campaign race to the bottom.  You're just giving your money away to be grifted by people that aren't in positions to win anything from the White House to Senate.  They're literally taking 90 cents on the dollar at this point.  I think about my cousin who complains to me every month that they're having a hard time making ends meet with one child furloughed from work and another one at Texas Tech with very little financial aid.  And I see her name on the FEC roll, giving hundreds of dollars at a time to the Trump campaign.  There's got to be millions more like her.  They're not in a trailer smoking meth or anything, but they are certainly having a tough time making ends meet and they're sending this shitshow hundreds and hundreds of dollars each year.  And they think that it's all gonna come back to them tenfold.  But it's not.  None of it's coming back.  It's just more debt for them to take on, no good comes of it.  Go ahead and vote for him and tell us how great he is, I don't care anymore.  I ain't gonna talk you out of shit.  But at least stop with the donations.  They're not donations.  They're advertisements of your vulnerability.  And when he's gone from office, that list with your name on it is gonna get sold to the group that pretends they're gonna send you leather bound volumes of Trump's greatest presidential achievements.  And you're gonna buy that shit too with money you can't afford so I can get guilt-tripped into helping out with your kids' books and lab fees at college.
