Jersey Shore another reboot

Don't lie, you watched it.  If you didn't you should, these people are a train wreck.

Snooki has had so much plastic surgery she is un recognizable.  And still a massive drunk.

Jwow has even bigger tits now, and duck lips and grandma glasses.

The Situation has an IRS Situation.

Pauly D is living the dream.

The Situation seems to shockingly be the most well adjusted on the show.  Of course, he may just be playing to the judge that will sentence him in a few weeks.   As a current low carb eater, I loved Vinny drunk eating just the toppings of the pizza and the rest of the cast laughing at him.  Been there.   Great show to hate watch - no shame here.

Damn, I didn't know they were rebooting that shit.  I thought they were just advertising a rerun marathon.  How does Pauly D seem to be the biggest guido and looks like a prototype Jersey douche yet also seems to be the most likable of the whole lot?

I have struggled with this for years.

Pauly D’s crib is ridiculous. And I can’t believe that somebody married and knocked up Snookie. She is foul x10, it’s so gross. Oh, and Ron just an older, fatter, creepier, still-super-insecure guido douchebag. He’s going to turn into Vinnie’s creepy uncle.

JFC these people on this show are the most self involved idiots I have seen.  I do not watch a lot of reality TV but this show has drawn my attention.  Ronnie getting a bj in the upstairs bathroom and  cheating on his pregnant girlfriend.

But Pauly D cracks me up.

Curious as to where the guy gets so much money.  His house - and cars were ridiculous.  I didn’t think DJ’s made that much.

After The Jersey Shore ended, things revved up, though only gradually. His first gigs outside of Rhode Island were in Connecticut. He used those jobs as leverage to showcase himself as a performer, and played up his skill set by refusing to do basic club appearances. Showing up to drink and pose for photos can be a rather lucrative post-reality gig, but he wanted to distinguish himself. Whenever a booking opportunity would come up, he’d turn it down unless he was also able to DJ.

“All the other [cast members] could do club appearances, because they couldn’t do anything else,” said one of his two managers, Larry Rudolph. “The last thing Pauly would want to do is these club appearances where he just shows up and sits on the couch.”

As Pauly sees it, coming in with a talent is what set him apart from the more common trend of reality TV fame burning out into some bloated iteration of everyone’s 15 minutes. “I wanted to work to my dream, not just be some reality show DJ,” he said. “There are still some skeptics, and how I prove them wrong is just with my DJ skills.

"Performing at Harrah’s is routine for Pauly. He’s had a residency there for the past five years, returning to their Pool After Dark club space about once a month to a mix of unbridled excitement and apathy. Walking down to the venue, some casino dwellers are unfazed by his presence, while others scream and rush over requesting photos. As Pauly pauses for another group shot, I watch as a platinum blonde in a suede skirt sidesteps a morbidly obese man wearing a T-shirt that reads, “It is what it is.”

I laughed, but more at how compelling this perception of Pauly is than anything else. The joke was that he’s an oaf who stumbled his way into the spoils of reality television, as if by accident. But Pauly isn’t the result of dumb luck. Far from it. With a multi-million dollar income sewed from DJ-ing alone, not to mention a tanner, cologne, and clothing line, he couldn’t possibly be.

According to this (from 2016) he makes $11M a year just from DJ'ing

See.  Ronnie should have emulated The Situation.  You know darn well Mike is going to go batshit crazy as soon as the judge makes his/her decision.  He’s smart enough to use the show to improve his image rather than tarnish it.

Mans it must suck to know you’ve made a mistake but your significant other isn’t going to see it for many months and we’ll after having the baby.  Dumbass.

I have to agree... its a show I can't stop watching and, yes, Pauly D has always been the most likeable and oddly most reasonable character.  Guy has turned his moment in the sun into years in the sun.  Seems like he keeps his nose clean.
Well unlike the others...He actually has a career to uphold.

I've been to a Pauly d show like 5 yrs ago right into a ndsu tailgate the next morning. Not my proudest 15 hr span

This episode is off to a blistering start. The “auto-closer” on the bathroom door, & Vinny & Pauly recreating the phone call are fucking greatness.

The best part was the metaphor Pauly gave about Ronnie's call being like Ronnie running into the police station with blood all over his hands admitting to murder.

Yeah I didn’t get the whole Instagram part.  They acted like they had absolutely no access to social media.  I was wondering if perhaps MTV took away their cell phones; however, they were using one shortly after Ronnie called prego.

Deanna’s a beating.  I think we all had that friend in college that we knew we were going to have to babysit each time she joined us out.

Ron is such an immature turd.  He is more worried of what he can get away with than what he actually did.  Then lies to himself about what actually happened to make up fake excuses.  She would eventually find out when the show aired.

Pauly with the must have been a draft up there with the door closing was lulz.  And Mike buying french fries at the store and leaving them on the counter was a nice subtle move.
