Yes, the virus is going to be stopped by faith, shitty pieces of bread, and everyone drinking out of the same glass of wine.

Jesus fuck you’re an idiot.

I am sorry you lack faith and don't understand those of us that do. Christians have willingly suffered through torture and death to celebrate mass. Those of us like me who want to worship communally should not be prohibited from doing so.

Again, the Diocese of Texas has taken steps to limit infection by removing holy water from founts which can be a source of infection. I dip my fingers when it is available and cross myself with the water when I go to mass. That action and avoiding touching your face are reasonable precautions to take. Same as banning intincting. Drinking from the common cup does not have the same risks.

Overlooking the tainted holy air that Barbra is spewing out 2 rows behind you is not wise

Welp, in case anyone didn't think this is serious:  my Starbucks (and I assume all others) pulled the creamer off the table.

Now if you want cream you have to have the barista pour it for you.  Fuck that.

Looks like I'm going black for a while (what she said).  Or better yet I'll snuggle up to my Nespresso machine and stay home.

I know it's basic math, and everyone knows how exponential growth occurs, but it's very relevant to this situation.

Many (not necessarily in this thread) are still in the "1,000 cases in the US?!?" and "just 120,000 in the whole world?!?"  and "the flu infects like 50 million" mentality.

As most already know the numbers are already much higher than the confirmed cases, and have the potential to become tens of millions or greater very quickly from this point forward.

I've had some success with the olds and non-mathematicals (like my parents) by answering this dismissal with-- "yes, and how do you think it gets to 50 million?  Exactly like this."

Then they start to wrap their heads around the math-- how it is likely to spread to so many people-- but they still don't see it as any more dangerous than the flu.  So, I guess I'm halfway there...

He has voluntarily hooked up with trannies...I think he would seek out whoever it is you're referencing.

The first case in DC was a priest in Georgetown who gave communion for two consecutive weeks before he was confirmed COVID-19 positive.  Episcopal so he probably doesn't matter to icono.

I think what Hagbard was trying to say is that he’d prefer to kill himself by overdosing on household vitamins than let the coronamonster take him while he’s hacking inside the bowels of the healthcare system.

Says the pilot of the goodship SuperSpreader on the way to Disney.  But you are correct.  YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET THIS AND GO CRITICAL IN THE NEXT MONTH.  Getting it and then taking your saving throw dice roll and system shock dice roll in May *could* be a much different (non-italian) prognosis.

Oh, well, thank you Doctor, on your take on reasonable precautions. Your long and distinguished track record of healthy and sound personal choices and well thought out decisions certainly lends to your credibility. Shit, the Diocese of Texas is on board, and they never fuck up anything, right? Protected anyone that shouldn't be protected. An infallible institution, really. What could go wrong?

https://www.nytimes.com/article/coronavirus-body-symptoms.html

Quoted from article:

Bone marrow and organs like the liver can become inflamed too, said Dr. George Diaz, section leader for infectious diseases at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Wash., whose team treated the first U.S. coronavirus patient...

“The virus will actually land on organs like the heart, the kidney, the liver, and may cause some direct damage to those organs,” Dr. Schaffner [infectious disease specialist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center] said. As the body’s immune system shifts into high gear to battle the infection, the resulting inflammation may cause those organs to malfunction...

A lot of money is being lost with the cancellations. I'm not arguing that they aren't necessary, but that's the tangible problem.

welp, let's see what OM says at 8.  if he confirms no bankster help for everyman he is going to get excorciated after Parliament and The Crown coming in this afternoon.

Christian institutions have also been responsible for deaths to others that disagreed with them through the centuries.

But mass gatherings could endanger lives. It's very unchristian of you to consider a temporary sacrifice to help others. And by unchristian, I mean making a conscious decision that harms others is basically malice, and might land you in hell. So by all means, grab some of your friends and find a basement somewhere and get to work.

What symptoms is the 3 year old exhibiting?

Article just said Dad didn't have any symptoms on the plane ride home.  He also infected mom (giggidy) as well.  The other kids in the family tested negative.

Every event of any significance after this weekend will be cancelled and almost every event this weekend will be cancelled.

My country club just cancelled its annual spring break party and the local school district just cancelled the annual pancake breakfast fundraiser and there are zero confirmed cases in my city.

All school nationwide will be cancelled within two weeks and all workplaces that don't require in-person attendance to function will be cleared out by April.

The decision makers finally understand that they are in the kill zone demo and are starting to cover their asses.

thank god.

we're only halfway through the week.

70% reduction gets us a .3 deduction on the R0 and changes the trajectory.  Does it glide in under the intubation/ventilator capacity?

it's amazing we have done this with NEGATIVE INVERSE TRUTH REALITY TUNNEL leadership by the OM.

It's a lot of fucking zinc.

1 hour ago, SydneyCarton said:

The recommended daily amount of zinc is 8 milligrams (mg) for women and 11 mg for adult men.

So apparently Zinc does not help by itself because it's a positive Ion and has no way of breaching the cell membrane. However, there is a malaria drug called Chloroquine that allows the zinco to enter the cell membrane and shut down the replcase protein that is replicating the virus in your cells.

well if this guy is correct.  I don't know shit

Outdated ancient traditions is one of the reasons we're all in this mess.

With the shit testing this is the kind of info I hope our state and local officials have access to.   Would really love to see the Texas ER numbers.

At the very least, we can look at deaths due to respiratory illness in 2018 vs 2019.

2019 data is irrelevant.   We need data on current ER patients presenting with 'flu like' symptoms, particularly those with a negative flu test, as a proxy for Covid.
