I've never started a thread in here.  I don't think i ever started a thread in shag cloak room.  My total number of posts in both forums since November 2007 is counted on 2 hands.  I know it's not going to be easy, and you fuckers are vicious bastards.  But she is the first US politician that has "reached me" in my entire non-voting life.  If she can somehow get nominated, currently a 50000-1 shot, i'll register to vote for the first time since 1984.

From the beginning, I thought the two most electable people are Hickenlooper and Klobs.  They were the only ones who had been elected multiple times in large, swingy states.  For reasons unknown only but to God, Hickenlooper flamed out.  I like Amy because she's stable, boring, and normal.  Also, the bit about her being mean to her staff is pretty fucking sexist.

What is it about her that reaches you, Celine? Genuinely curious. I've seen her at every debate but nothing she or Pete does inspires anything at all in me. I just expect more of the previous status quo with these two. Klob is even more of a turn off for me because she's approved Trump judges at extremely high rates. Like David, I'd only vote for her or Pete if they are the nominee.

Well, I for one am glad your 35 years on parole is finally coming to an end and that convicted felons can vote in some instances.

No, she’s a return to the status quo.  Status quo now is something completely different.

I disagree with a number of her policies and past actions.   She is human and fallible.

Watch her New Hampshire speech i posted above.

40 years ago tonight, the United States, 2 days after a miracle draw with Sweden with :27 left on the clock, crushed the Czechs, 7-3.  Amy's campaign feels like that magical February 40 years ago.  The pucks just found the net.  And the US just kept on winning.  They won that night, rolled Norway and Romania, then had to come from behind against Germany, the Soviets and Finland, winning 6 in a row.  This happened during our lowest point of national self esteem possibly in the history of the country.

I don't know if Amy can overcome what's in front of her.

But she's a winner.  She has always won.

She's never lost.

Just because she gave you a ‘reach around’ (while pegging) does not mean she has your best interests at heart.

Not only reasons known to God; he came off like a weirdo and told everyone he watched porn with his mother.

Us Democrats can be a bit out there sometimes but not watching porn with your mom out there.

You could also register and help us try to save the fucking country by voting. Just a thought.

I was surprised when she ended up being the D candidate most closely aligned with my views after I took the survey that circulated a month or so ago.  I had been Team Warren until that point, and would still support Warren if she got the nomination, but that's starting to look unlikely.

I noticed in my morning paper copy of the NYT (because that is how we fucking roll in Casa Canecutter, all the rest of you are free to leap like servants every time your blue screen master plastic rectangle goes "bloop bloop bloop" with a needy idiot demanding you accomplish another task, or THEY WILL DIE THIS MINUTE) as I said, the graph in my paper copy of the NYT showed everybody swapping support over the past few months, except for Amy (pronounced "EEmy") who just kept chugging along from nothing to 2% to 5% to, who knows?

I hope she gets way up there. Only remaining Dem who doesn't make me want to puke.

Everyone wrote off the klob, multiple times, since last summer.

The machine's best bet is a brokered convention.   So Liz is not done either.

You have to right the ship before you get it back on course.   Klob would be win for all the folks you've come to love in the congressional impeachment hearings.   She could get enough excitement behind her campaign (first women) and not make the talking points easy on the other side.

She'd be a win for reestablishing order.  The upside would be the republicans might actually have to behave to right their own ship.

All that presupposes no real skeletons.

The telephone poll, conducted by WPA Intelligence on behalf of the Las Vegas Review-Journal and AARP Nevada, contacted 413 likely caucus attendees from Tuesday through Thursday.

Sanders led the pack with 25 percent of respondents expressing support, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden (18 percent) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts (13 percent).

I've always thought she was the strongest general election candidate and would easily beat Trump, but didn't have a shot to break through in the primary. If she proves me wrong and gets the nomination I will be extremely happy.

Nevada is where we find out if she has legs.   She has a week to go from zero to hero.   Sure, she will carry on to super tuesday, and might surprise a little, but to actually do damage on super tuesday she has to continue the surge in Nevada, where she has zero.  The vegas papers are all sanders/buttigieg this morning, with the only honorable mention going to warren.

Hagbard was paid off with an Amy branded Jazzy.
#shill

I tried to get an Amy sign for my yard last summer.  I signed up for a monthly donation so I could get mails with an audit trail back to her campaign.  I even volunteered to put an Amy sticker in my rear windshield if they couldn't get me a yard sign.  Zero replies to anything.

no amy swag at all.

Amy is still trailing Warren in delegates.  I’d be okay with her but she’s way behind in the game as far a money, outreach to POC communities, or any serious ground game in Super Tuesday states. She went all in in Iowa and got smoked.  Her debate performance, subsequent media fawning, and Warren media erasure was mostly responsible for the NH results.

She has an outside shot but not nearly in as good a position as four other candidates to compete for the nomination.
