Look, man--if we win tonight (and it's looking favorable at present), we're going to need every man on deck to win in November.  Let's be magnanimous in victory.

I don't like Bernie.  I think his supporters can be obnoxious.  But they feel passionately about their positions.

We ought to listen to what they have to say.

Oh we're sure to hear from them. Because they never shut up

Corrected myself...was heated.  I still cover two clinics down there.  It's just as dangerous, if not worse, than the LA version.

There’s no question that it’s more dangerous ...but Englewood in Chicago is a depopulated community ripe for gentrification(very early stages) and Inglewood, CA is a relatively large suburb of LA that has a few good parts...but the bad parts are deceivingly beautiful with palm trees and red graffiti.

I digress. Back on topic.

I have nothing against Bernie personally but out of the remaining Democratic candidates I think he's the least likely to beat Trump. I think if he gets the nomination it almost assuredly gives Trump the win. Way too many brainwashed GOPers who lose their minds when he describes himself as a socialist. I mean, I voted for Warren and I will vote for whoever the Democratic candidate is in the national election, but if Bernie gets the nomination I'm getting ready for four more years of Ol' Combover.

Biden will gain in Texas once today’s votes are count as opposed to early voting. In early voting, Pete and Amy are outperforming but that won’t happen with the remainder of the votes.

That’s true.  I voted for Biden, and I wouldn’t have done that if I voted early.

Biden will not beat Trump

Hell, he had 1 office in Virgina and look at that.

Ground game is overrated.  No one wants people bothering them at home.

Uh. Ok.

That’s actually an important thing for us to know. Remember, if you’re not 100% ride or die for Bernie, you’re actually a Trumper. That’s the mentality we’re dealing with. And we have to figure out how to get these folks to show up in November to support whoever the nominee is. Gonna be tough.

Then they need to turnout and vote.

Young voters and Latino voters have some of the worst turnout percentages.

If they all actually showed up, this election would be a wrap.

Can’t complain about your group (youngs, Latinos, etc.) not being listened to or being ignored if 75% of them can’t be bothered to vote.

My wife picked up my daughter from school today and the after-school program workers were asking the parents if they voted. My wife noticed that most the White parents, older Hispanic, and couple of the Black parents all proudly stated(or displayed voting stickers) that they voted. A young group of Hispanic moms In their 20s all said “no, we don’t have time to vote. No need for us to vote since it doesn’t count anyway”.

What really sucks is that they’re being gentrified out quickly and most aren’t likely voting. Half million starting price dollar condos and townhomes are replacing the older, smaller homes and Apts.

Vote people!!!

I already lived through 2016. I've got no interest in denial, anger, or depression. Hell, I'm not even interested in bargaining for Bernie's candidacy. If he loses a fair fight I'll go straight to acceptance.
Bargaining for the lives of the hundreds of thousands of Americans who will die under Joe's dogshit healthcare plan? The millions who will suffer needlessly? Yes, I'll grovel for that.
Bargaining for the lives of the people who will lose family members to suicide over medical debt that Joe will jeer at for his Delaware finance buddies? Yes, I'll grovel for that.
Bargaining for the lives of civilians who will die when Joe is goaded into more wars and extralegal actions? Yes, I'll grovel for that.
I'll fill your mug with leftist tears for it if it'll help.

You’ve made multiple posts about the superiority of Bernie’s M4All program and how the world is making a massive mistake by not electing Bernie, and I just have to make a comment.

I spent hours searching for anything and everything I could find on objective evaluations of M4All and the only thing I could find that had even a bit of depth to it was the Yale study that just came out that was produced by one of Bernie’s advisors. That is not an objective source.

M4All may well be absolutely superior to all other alternatives. However it is probably one of the single biggest legislative ideas in this country’s history. It would eliminate an entire industry. For something that big and that important to have insufficient analysis highlights just how half-ass his plan really is. It is no surprise Many Americans aren’t buying his ideas yet.

The time for that is coming to an end.  We need not to worry about past behavior.  It's getting to be time to focus on the real enemy.

Look--Bernie is coming on.  I'm going to agree with 90% of what he has to say.  We can talk reasonably about the other 10%.

Now lets go fuck up the MAGAts.

Here's a study by Mercatus & George Mason paid for by the Koch Brothers that shows M4A saves money and provides better coverage.

And M4A is an already-filed 100-page piece of legislation.

Could there be more? Sure, but what else is on offer?

I invite you to show me a better, more detailed, and more researched plan. :)

The worst thing about Bernie is his supporters, just look at BT. Everything else he says is reasonable, I just wish he didn't sound like he was scolding me the entire time

Sounds like someone is trying to get chased around the kitchen.

Listening to Bernie and I always felt like he sounded familiar but I could quite place it.  I realized tonight he sounds like George Steinbrenner from Seinfeld.

They should get that guy to play him on SNL

Jeff Sessions is beating Tommy Tuberville by 600 votes. I smell a run off

You'd just hate to see the Alabama GOP fight over allegiance to Trump for months while Doug Jones raises some cash and gets to point out what dumbfucks they look like.

We've talked about this before and proven you wrong. That same study says that we will have to reduce provider reimbursement by 40%.  And it also says that even after doubling income and corporate taxes and reducing provider reimbursement by 40% they aren't sure if they can sustain M4ALL. Here it is on Page 21:

Quote

"As noted earlier, the federal cost of enacting the M4A Act would be such that doubling all federal individual and corporate income taxes going forward would be insufficient to fully finance the plan, even under the assumption that provider payment rates are reduced by over 40 percent for treatment of patients now covered by private insurance. Such an increase in the scope of federal government operations would precipitate a correspondingly large increase in federal taxation or debt and would be unprecedented if undertaken as an enduring federal commitment.50 There should be a robust public discussion of whether these outcomes are desirable and practicable before M4A’s enactment is seriously considered."

Why do you, Bernie and your ilk keep being intentionally deceitful or willfully ignorant?

Who was played by Larry David.  So what you're saying is Bernie sounds like Larry.
