I wonder, will schools offer a refund, if a portion of the upcoming football season is cancelled..?

There is no way on this planet that football will be canceled. This disease does seem to have a peak level of infection, we're just trying to flatten out the curve right now to avoid overloading the health system with everyone getting it at once, and the curve should be on the downslope by at latest the summer.

I'd rather die watching college football than have football be canceled.

Roughly the same relationship as, uh, I dunno - how about Awesome Jugs?

how dare you besmirch the finest thread on here. No matter what happens with our health or future season that thread is a permanent win.

No besmirchification. Thread is fine, only pointing out the relationship.

Carry on.

With few live sporting events, I bet Disney, ESPN, Fox and LHN take a beating over the next couple of months.  Is ESPN2 still televising cornholing?

If ESPN doesn't create a rolling Greatest Upsets of March Madness rerun show they've botched this opportunity

Having lived in a bidet country for 7 1/2 years, I say that they absolutely should be.

Also, having had to help take care of my elderly dad who couldn't do a lot of things that one would never want to do for someone else, I kept imploring my parents to get a bidet.

It took me about a year and a half to get on board with the whole bidet thing, but once I did, I was sold. Even taught an American girlfriend down there to use the thing because it really expands the playing field. And even if you want to stick to the playing fields that you know best, it makes visiting said fields a joy with plenty of fresh air with every breath.

Only in certain markets. It gets great ratings in San Francisco.

(Sorry, couldn’t resist)

I really wish pro/college sports kept playing but without fans in attendance but fans could still watch from home. With no sports to watch, dudes like me are more likely to go out in public to find things to do, which doesn't help contain the virus.

Last night, I found a network on my streaming funtion on tv (of multiple channels), of players playing online games, [so, that´s a thing now].?!

Did I just see an NBA 2K game be covered in a local news sports block? I mean the Mavs beat the Suns so I'm ok with that.

Team bidet here.  First introduced to them in Japan.  Had more than one for years.  Bought my dad one and it was, according to him, the best gift I had ever given him as it helped him with some health issues.

like Red Fox once said, “A man has gots to wash his ass!  Amazing the amount of grime that could fit on the face of a dime...”

My mother rules the roost. One does not buy appliances and then install them into the home of the chief.

Also, and you may find this shocking, one does not make an obscene amount of money teaching English and then giving city tours in a developing country. And upon returning to the US, one makes even less as an unpaid around-the-clock in-home-care specialist in said house.

Buying a $2,000 toilet that wasn’t going to be permitted to be installed was not at the top of my list of reminders on how to limit my ever-increasing debt load as I cared for my parents. 👍

You serious, Clark? Two grand for a bidet? Where do they live? It's been a couple of years, but I don't think I've seen anything over about $500 total for the pot and faucets and a couple or three franklins for installation.

EDIT: Had a quick search, and seeing from two up to around six franklins. Do these two-granders feature gold-plated faucets, or...?
