Garage Gym Floor Recs

Recommended Posts

Like lots of people right now we are making a little home gym in our garage. This is far from my area of expertise and it is being driven by my teenager who is very upset to lose his gym time, plus I have 2 younger boys so I am sure it's going to be used for a long time. (You know, just like that trampoline they insisted on last year.)

We have equipment coming next week but I obviously want to get some protective flooring. I need to get rubber, not foam, right? Any recommendations? I am flying blind here.

Tractor Supply rubber horse stall mat. They are thick and super durable. Get as many as you need and just place them side by side.  I tried the foam interlocking ones from Academy and they started to spit apart with any type of lateral movement on them.

This.  They are 4x6.  Bought 24 of these and did a 24X24 area
