For some reason, I have that movie on DVD, must have been in the bargain bin at Walmart years ago or something, because no way would I have paid more than $5.

Anyways, one helluva cast.

  • Al Pacino
  • Madonna
  • Glenne Headly
  • Charles Durning
  • Dick Van Dyke
  • Kathy Bates
  • Seymour Cassell
  • Michael Pollard
  • Dustin Hoffman
  • Mandy Patinkin
  • James Tolkan
  • Henry Silva
  • Paul Sorvino
  • James Caan

In because Hardy.

This.  I love the crime genre, but right now, Hardy is one of the actors whose name  alone makes me interested. Joaquin Phoenix is in that same category for me.

I want to see what they create on the screen.

Hardy runs circles around Phoenix.

True.  They both are actors whose depictions can be brilliant.  Wasnt trying to say they are equals, but I put my butt in a seat to watch their work.

What say ye on Edward Norton? I mean I still hate Phillip Seymour Hoffman for Scent of a Woman, so i guess that means he was good as a kid; but I don't see him on a level with DDL and Hardy.

Speaking of which, a really good flick with Norton and PSH, as well as the underrated Barry Pepper, is 25th Hour.

Get some glasses then.  Dude's played all kinds of characters, and was amazing every single time.  Scent of a woman, douche bag, prep school boy, to Capote.

Edward Norton is a good actor but he doesn’t swim in the same pool at Bale, Phoenix, DDL, Hardy, PSH
