This is AMAZING. Blows our Sark/Heisman one out of the water.

This might have broken my brain. Is this somehow bait or posted ironically? Is no one in their social media department self-aware in the slightest?

The level of respect this shows for the average Pedo State recruit is ....minimal.

As of today, the expectation is that Al Washington will stay in Columbus instead of take the DC job at Tennessee. We would prefer to see him go.

Heupel is apparently moving on to Kacy Rodgers who has spent enough time in the NFL to not know how he'll recruit.

turned down a 1.5 DC gig..

Seems like DC's recruiting abilities are not as important as in the past.  Hire a couple of rainmakers that can be assistants especially at the position the DC is well versed at and it can work.

Kacy Rodgers is a good DL coach, so if Tennessee can hire a great recruiter that coaches DL it may work out...

He received this offer 2 days ago, it was his first as far as I can tell. He doesn't have a Rivals profile or a rating from 247. The tape is....interesting. Plays RB and DE for his HS. RB clips look like Roschon in slow motion. His DE clips are...bad. This just odd for a pretty respected guy in Aranda to reach for a 0-star in Missouri.
He will bleed green tho, not easy to find players (or their bro) who idolize Baylor growing up.

They hired Rodney Garner to coach DL, so he fits that bill. Still looking for a DC, Rodgers appears to have said no.

Thanks...

Wow -- that changed fast.  Thought Kacy Rodgers was a done deal at Tennessee.  Heupel in a real dumpster fire 🔥🔥🔥

BC walks in and explains why he missed on big targets at Texas, what they need to not miss on said targets at SC, et voila

I think that's giving BC more credit than he deserves I think both the BC and Martin are hires based on the fact that ASU is out in front of every single eval and is contacting every single recruit FARRRR more often.

Spoiler

Mike at Night: Texas in negotiations with Glasscock
MIKE ROACH Feb 17, 7:38 PM

As Horns247 reported on Saturday, Texas was closing in on a new Director of Player Personnel in Billy Glasscock.

Tonight, sources tell Horns247 that Glasscock is working on hammering out the details to finalize a deal with Texas.  Steve Sarkisian moved on from former DPP Derek Chang shortly after arriving in Austin.  After plans fell through to hire former South Carolina DPP Drew Hughes, Sarkisian had to move on to other options.

Glasscock has been at North Carolina State since 2017 and helped the Wolfpack land in the Top 45 of recruiting classes every year with two Top-30 finishes. Before arriving in Raleigh, Glasscock served as Director of Recruiting Operations at Minnesota. Prior to Minnesota, Glasscock worked at Northern Illinois, Arizona Western and Joliet Junior College.

He's been instrumental in helping the Wolf Pack increase their recruiting footprint in a competitive ACC conference.  While he's been at more mid-level stops so far, many people think he's ready for the step up to the big time.

247Sports' Steve Wiltfong wrote about what Glasscock would bring to Texas, saying, "That would be a terrific hire for the Longhorns as Glasscock is at the top of his profession in my opinion in a conversation that would include the likes of Ohio State’s Mark Pantoni, Clemson’s Jordan Sorrells, Oklahoma's Drew Hill and Texas A&M’s Marshall Malchow.

Now, Glasscock is more than ready to be on an even playing field with those guys. He is a triple threat in the role, organized, a strong evaluator and he can recruit."

There's still no word about when an announcement will be made regarding the decision, but sources pointed to this week as a possible ETA.  If Glasscock is put into place, the remaining personnel department slots should come together quickly to round things out.
