When I saw that our ladies managed to turn the ball over 35 times

Weird wording or did you get your stats confused?

We forced 35 turnovers. Only turned it over 16 times ourselves. (It was the most turnovers forced since 1994)

Nice article (excerpts).

“Exactly as advertised,” Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte said after watching the game from the press box and robustly rooting on his team. “He’s one of the finest coaches in the country, and we’re fortunate to have him.”

Still, there was no Gatorade bath for Schaefer in the locker room.

“No,” Collier said, “it’s too early for that.”

Apparently the NCAA has about 2 dozen waivers left to process. Free Ebo!!

Also, Andrea Espinosa-Hunter (UConn, then Miss St) is grad transferring. We seem a likely spot considering she knows Vic’s system. We have spots if she comes in January and then wouldn’t count against scholarship limits next year.

The entire program just looks and feels different.

Big test on Sunday.

We still have one more tune up on Wednesday against LA Tech. Hope we can get Lambert some PT before the aggy game on Sunday.

Schedule gives us 2 SEC Sundays in a row - 12/6 Aggy and 12/13 Tennessee

ugh thats expected but still frustrating

In other news, I saw ESPN projects Charli Collier to be drafted #1 overall to the New York Liberty. Would love to see her stay for her senior year, but #1 overall draft money might be decent enough to go pro a year early.

Texas has never had a #1 WNBA pick in the league’s history.
