Donald Trump 2018

First, Americans who agreed with the various measures of Christian nationalism were much more likely to vote for Trump, even after controlling for other influences, such as political ideology, political party and other cultural factors proposed as possible explanations.

I don't think this rumor is going to turn out to be true. That thing was probably bunched up on the floor 15 feet away.

However, I've been down a rabbit hole or two on pornhub and there's this thing called "CFNM....."

That's a good article.   But yet it really doesn't explain why that same base was so violently against Obama (himself a practicing Christian) and Trump, who professes much more than he practices.

Here's part of a WaPo article and Obama's faith:

Quote

Obama did not grow up in a religious household and became a practicing Christian as an adult. He has written more extensively about his spiritual awakening than almost any other modern president, addressing it in two books before he was elected to the White House and in more than a dozen speeches since.

His faith had been central to his identity as a new kind of Democrat who would bring civility to the country’s political debates by appealing to Republicans through the shared language of their Judeo-Christian values.

With just one year left in his second term, Obama now holds a different distinction: No modern president has had his faith more routinely questioned and disparaged. Recent polls show that 29 percent of Americans and nearly 45 percent of Republicans say he is a Muslim.

I think a lot of Trump's base are the same as Trump in the profess over practice area.  A lot of facebook christians who do unchristianlike things in their personal and business lives, and then believe they get a "get outta jail free" card for backing the right team with the right verbage.

I think they forgive Trump because they are told to do so, and partly because they seem some of themselves in him.

They forgive him because he signifies their own cultural identity (or at least purports to), that identity (racism, xenophobia, anti-Muslim sentiment, etc.) having little to do with religious practice.  Hell, Trump puts the lie to conservative "piety" being a critical element of that identity.

1) it was obviously an Ivanka design and chicks rarely wear that designer crap more than a few times.

2) diff than Clinton b/c Drumpf raw dawg'd and creampie'd. How much spunk could his little guy have had anyway?

3) assuming that was before she got fat. Broads like to keep old, impossibly small shit for decades as thinspo.

He probably painted Hawaii on her stomach/back and she used the dress to clean herself up.

The urgency to strike a deal reflected the growing sense that the spending bill represented the last chance for the Trump administration to secure substantial wall funding, at least in his first term. Top Republicans believe it is all but certain that Democrats will gain House seats in November’s midterm elections — and perhaps take the majority — greatly enhancing their bargaining position in future spending negotiations.

i noted this bit of 14-D chess earlier. He got a pittance for the wall in exchange for an entitlement-heavy budget.  He’ll never see another penny for it.  So, depending on your math, you can say he will end up with enough money for between 2 and 6 percent of the Wall.

^^^ I can't even.

Start deducting wall funds from the disability checks of the rust belt cucks that actually bought Trump's "Mexico will pay for it" bullshit.

His voters welcome self-immolation because they are depending on the libcuck tears to extinguish the flames. #4dchessbro

Trump made a made a fantastical promise he never thought he'd be in a position to have to honor and it will be embarrassing for him if he doesn't get it done. So now our current president is trying to chisel billions of dollars away from the military to protect his ego.

You're basically describing how he's done business for the last several decades. Check out the netflix documentary "Dirty Money". They did an hour and a half edition on trump called "Confidence Man" and when you see footage of him wheeling and dealing back in the 80s and 90s it really comes home just how much he's bamboozled his supporters. It's a story that's happened time and time again

Shrubbery would be nicely maintained on one side at least. No racist.

You take that back!  We are the greatest nation on Earth...the fact that you don't think we could find some migrant workers to keep our side of the hedge looking good is insulting

It's really simple. They don't like black people. Evangelicals are among the most racist people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Back in the day they at least had to whisper their thoughts when they thought I couldn't hear. Now they're out and saying it freely in the streets as following the rise of the Tea Party they became less fearful of being censured by the general public and with the election of Trump it signified the removal any any need to fear judgment I suppose
