I mean, that guy was Hispanic wasn’t he?  Don’t white people have enough examples of being dicks that we don’t need to take the fall for our Hispanic brethren like this dude or the Travan Martin deal?

Martin was killed by a white hispanic.

What a dumbshit, but major props for the use of the chainsaw to scare them away, like he was ever really gonna slice, and dice with that thing.

He'd puke his guts out, like most everyone would seeing what one of those things does to flesh, and bone... all except Tony Montana that is.

Pet peeve: white people thinking this term was made up by the media when it’s been entirely legitimate maybe since forever. You’ve never seen “white of hispanic origin” on a job application or census form before? Hispanic is an ethnicity. There’s black hispanics (think Dominican & Puerto Rican baseball players) and white hispanics (like all the blonde haired green eyed mexican nationals in stone oak) and everything in between.

On the vid subject: The RGV and rest of south Texas would go 75%+ Republican every election if their racist rhetoric against immigrants and non-whites was ever to be toned down. It’s a democratic stronghold but not a liberal place at all. This guy is psycho with his violence but he has a lot in common with a lot of other people down there.

Stihl crazy after all these years.

He was a Husqv guy.  He was Poulan all kinds of racist terms out of his ass.  I will not Echo any of his sentiments, but suffice to say he doesn't like Black & would Decker if she was part African.  He is going to Makita into a hate crime.  But he does Worx for his Sun Joe to have a better life.  He probably even wants Dewalt built to keep out darker hispanics.

Wayne Brady is a black dude who can play the game (SEE:  Dave Chapelle show). Gumbel is an Oreo ... in the parlance of the day.... but I can't argue those points too hard.

How can you be familiar with Chappelle’s Show and not realize that was a quotation from it?

The Gumbels are New Orleans Creoles, descendants of a sort of recognized third race there once called gens de couleur libres; or free people of color. Lots of them were already free by the time of the Louisiana Purchase and they once occupied many of the city's more high-paying artisanal jobs like ironworking...The class came from mixed-race kids of Frenchmen, who entered into more formal arrangements with slave women than Anglo dudes -- they would work out deals with their mistress's mom and formally agree to look after the mistress and what kids might come from the arrangement. Some were sent to France to be educated, and some stayed there, including the father of author Alexandre Dumas, who was from what is now Haiti, but then a French colony tied closely to Louisiana. They resented their second-class status and were pressing for civil rights back in the 19th Century -- Plessy of the court case was a Creole. Early jazz was heavily Creole, and lots of them were formally trained classical musicians as well.

And I bet some of them read the Financial Times. Anyway, the Gumbels are not atypical of New Orleans Creoles at all.
