How the hell do people ever walk out of/turn off movies?

1991 didn't have the sophisticated sea of internet wannabe critics we enjoy today

Gene Siskel gave the film zero stars and said "This is easily one of the worst films I've ever seen."

Beyond that, the plot is that a housewife's imaginary friend from childhood returns.  That doesn't even sound like a good porn plot.

As long as we're listing terrible movies, the worst movie I ever saw in a theater I did not walk out of, but only due to extenuating circumstances.

Halloween 1998.  My then girlfriend had been bugging me to see Practical Magic with her.  Being a red blooded American male, I of course refused.

Texas played Nebraska in Lincoln that day and in a moment of euphoria while watching, I said if we win this game I'll go with you to see that stupid movie you want to see.

Ricky goes for 150, major hits Mcgarity on 4th down, and 2 hours later I'm in a theater watching a pile of shit and questioning my life decisions.

I experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows on that day.
