Kris Bryant is the only player in baseball history to win college player of the year, Minors POY, MLB ROY, and MLB MVP, and he did all of that in a span of four consecutive years. KB was supposed to be the Bird to Mike Trout's Magic, and now he's...garbage. He probably shouldn't even be an every day player on a good team. He has the fifth worst OPS in baseball and is batting .108 on breaking pitches. WTF happened here?

1.  All I know is that even the best hitters can't hit worth shit if they have hand/wrist injuries.

2.  Remember the furor when they delayed calling him up to manipulate his free agency clock?  Do they even tender him next season now?

Well a rough 5 innings. Scoreless first.

swanson is the only starter without an rbi but he has scored 4 times in 5 PAs ...in 6 innings.

25 runs on 19 hits is efficient offense. 5 braves have homered.

random thought(s): i want to see a hitter do something like two 3-HR games in one series or something. that would be cool. is there a place to go to look up stats like that? like "fewest days between 3-HR games" or something like that.

shouts out Adam Duvall.

According to STATS, Duvall is the first player in history to homer with one man on, two men on and the bases loaded, in that order, in a game. He is also just the second player in NL history to have two three-homer games within 10 days of each other, joining the Cardinals' Johnny Mize who accomplished the feat on July 13 and 20, 1938. Duvall is also the first player in the Majors to ever have two such games in the same September.
