I have no desire to go to any games that are only 25-50% capacity.  Its the fans that make the game great.  Just cancel the season, let the players heal and give their bodies a much needed rest.  Let them be students first for once in their lives.  We are in the same boat that everyone else is in.  No one will gain an advantage.  Lets just do the right/safe thing.  We are TEXAS.  We should not be whoring around for a few bucks or possible edge on recruiting.  Lets be the adults in the room.  Hook'em Horns.

a lot of these players are starting to realize that football is what they have to do

if you take out the highly vocal idiots that think they are in college to be a "pro" and get paid you start to get to a lot of the ones that are waking up to the fact that where they come from sucks and their home life sucks and if they are not away at college they are probably somewhere fucking up with long term consequences

and even some of the ones that think they are in college to be "pro" and to get paid are starting to wake up to the idea that if they are not treated like a "pro" that also has to show up to class every once in a while they will just be a piss poor college student that will have shit grades and that will use their free time to fuck up their life in their college town just like they would if they are back home

there have been players that have flat out said that....that their home life offers NOTHING for them and where they are from offers NOTHING for them

many of them are also starting to realize that three years average in "the league" is often because someone else comes in and plays harder, better, faster, and more intelligently than they do and there is nothing that says that cannot also happen to them in college as well especially at a place like Alabama or tOSU or even at Texas....starter one day transfer the next hoping to find a team where they can fit right in and make enough happen to still get drafted or at least signed as a free agent

and if they are taking a year off and not practicing or practicing with distancing and with nothing to practice for other than next year there is every chance they will just fuck that off an get out of shape and their head out of whack with the focusnessness of being a top athlete.....and here comes some other player out of high school that might have been playing or played a few  games or that kept their focusnessness because they had not yet gotten into college and they take the position....and the transfer portal is crowded enough as it is and imagine how it is going to be now

to be clear I see none of the above as a really good thing at all in fact I think it is a piss poor thing and an example of fucking up college athletics and an example of why some of these "pros" need to never step foot on a college campus and waste space and air in a classroom and they should be allowed to go (probably fail) on their own in some D league where they can get paid from day one and be forgotten soon after, but sadly we are not going to use all of this to help move in that direction, but at least there are some players that are waking up to the fact that classroom life and schooling outside of playing ball is what keeps them from just running wild and fucking up when they are not playing ball...and some of them are waking up to the idea that the system as it is set up now (the way many of them want it and actually want more of) is set up to move them through year by year and season by season and if there is a disruption in that it is not going to stop down and reset for a year it is going to grind on and grind over and up some of those players that were in that year off especially the ones that think they are about to move on and up to the next level

a lot of this would be a great time to reset shit to where a degree is valued, but of course there are the fuck heads that think it is time to argue for unions and payments (many of them that will never set foot on a pro field unless they are there to mow the grass), but at least some have woken up to the fact that they are as responsible for helping the system be like that and no matter what they might want to take back or do over it is too late for that so they better get out there and play and hopefully go pro then maybe they can be a voice in the future for get an education instead of "get that bag" while shitting on that education because they can point out how close they were to possibly having neither the education or "the bag"

We might see pretty quickly if and what power bloU has. With their new cases, I wonder how many it’ll take to say no mas.

are we glossing over that those 9 cases occurred away from team activities and most likely away from norman and were from when the team was on break and players were free to do as they wished including returning home

and even with Texas and OkState at least one each of their cases was from being back at home OkState with a player in Tulsa at a protest and Texas with a player coming back from home

Likely that will be ignored by anyone not wanting to play.
