How drunk is the dad if he just lets the car roll into the pool?

A father and daughter in Florida ended up taking an unexpected dip in the pool on Tuesday, after the man's wife reportedly failed to put the family car in park and it ended up rolling into the water.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post the woman thought she put the vehicle into park when she ran back into her apartment around 2 p.m. in the town of Crestview on Okaloosa Island, located on the state's panhandle.

Oh Florida.

DeLAND, Fla. - Two men are accused of breaking into the home of a man they both dated, stealing several items, then leaving spaghetti sauce boiling on the stove with a washcloth placed near the burner in an attempt to start a fire, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

The victim called 911 about 7 a.m. Tuesday because the security cameras in his home on Evergreen Terrace in DeLand detected motion and he believed someone was breaking in because a towel had been placed over one of the cameras, the report said.

Deputies went to the residence and saw a red Lincoln Navigator attempting to leave the area. A stop was conducted and the driver, 28-year-old John Silva, and passenger, Derrick Irving, told the deputy that they had just picked up some clothes from the victim's home, according to the affidavit.

The victim told News 6 that Irving was wearing a bull costume.

The deputy said she could see a marijuana grinder in the center console and a vacuum, window A/C unit, flat-screen television and heater in the back seat. An empty jar of Ragu spaghetti sauce was also on the passenger's seat, the report said.

Deputies said both men initially denied burglarizing the victim's home, instead saying that Irving told Silva he lived at the home and needed a ride there to retrieve some clothes and other items.

The home reeked of smoke when deputies entered it, according to the report. A pot of spaghetti sauce was found burning on the stove with a white washcloth placed near the burner that had just begun to catch fire, according to the affidavit.

"He was trying to make it look like I left the stove on but who gets up 2 a.m. and fixes sketti," the victim said.

The deputy extinguished the flames then continued searching the home.

Evidence at the scene revealed that Silva and Irving broke into the home, covered the security cameras, stole the items, then put the spaghetti sauce on the stove in an attempt to start a fire so the evidence would be destroyed, according to authorities.

Silva and Irving told deputies that they both had romantic or sexual encounters with the victim in the past.

"It started out as a relationship, that lasted about a week," the victim said. "I've let him use my car for four months, maybe he's angry about that. Or maybe he's angry because I gave him $150 to fix his teeth."

Both men were charged with unarmed burglary, grand theft and arson.

Silva is being held on $25,500 bond and Irving is being held without bond because officials say he violated his probation.

A Florida woman reportedly in a “romantic sexual relationship” with her brother was charged after giving birth to his baby, officials said.

Pauline Elizabeth Martin, 33, told investigators she and her brother were living as a couple in Groveland when she became pregnant with his child, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

Authorities said they began investigating the woman, who is a McDonald’s cashier, after the baby was born Nov. 21 with “severe medical problems.”

The newborn was immediately transferred to get specialized care at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, where genetic testing revealed the parents were related, the Daily Commercial reported.

Neither parent completed the information on the baby’s birth certificate, according to authorities.

Deputies interviewed the mom at her workplace last week in Leesburg, and she allegedly admitted she has been romantically involved with her brother for the past five years. The siblings reportedly last had sex March 21.

“She said she was going to end her relationship with her brother because she knows it is wrong,” the police report stated, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Martin was arrested Friday on charges of incest and resisting without violence, according to court records. She was released the following day from Lake County Jail on $3,000 bond.

The mom is next scheduled to appear in court April 16.

Officials said they plan to speak to her brother but have been unable to track him down, the Daily Commercial reported.

While conducting the traffic stop, the deputy smelled the odor of fresh marijuana emitting from Moneyhon’s vehicle.

The deputy then found a used syringe with a clear liquid substance in it when they searched Moneyhon. The substance tested positive for cocaine.

“While Moneyhon was detained, she advised she had stuffed a tire gauge in her uterus which she used to smoke crack cocaine out of it,” the deputy said.

So what got me about this one wasn’t the people in the car not doing anything, it was the fact that apparently a light breeze was all that was needed to knock over the fence. Ain’t no fucking way the story they told the cops is true. If the fence was so shitty it couldn’t keep a car from going through it at idle, the whole damn thing would’ve collapsed when the car went through it. I’m guessing the drunk husband or the kid floored it.

From there, we go to Okeechobee where we have a reporter live on the scene of a monkey attack:

OKEECHOBEE, Fla. -- A diaper-wearing pet monkey attacked a Home Depot employee who was trying to find the monkey's owner.

  • Pet monkey attacked Home Depot worker
  • The monkey escaped from its owner's truck
  • The worker was bitten on the back, her hand and arm

The incident happened Monday at the store located at 2700 Highway 441 South, according to the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office.

The monkey's owner, Tina Ballard, told deputies she left her pet monkey in her truck on a leash.

However, the monkey escaped from the vehicle and wandered the parking lot.

Marilyn Howard, the worker who was attacked, told deputies that she was taking a break outside the store when she heard coworkers yelling about a monkey.

Howard said she then spotted the monkey walking toward her. She grabbed the monkey's leash when it climbed on her and bit her twice on the back.
