why do I even pay for CBS All Access if i can't pause, rewind, ffwd, etc, and if there's no replay available when the match is over? not even any highlights available. a few years ago i never missed a single game because they were all on cable, regardless of competition. now they're all split up between 6 different shitty streaming services. they gave America soccer and then took it right away. stupid.

We lost to Burnley today.  Ouch.  Closer to relegation zone than Champions League.

Is it injuries?  Spending?  Covid? Arteta?  Hope it's not him because I thought he was the real deal.

Should we just blame Ozil?*

* There was a downfall video where Hitler says, "Everyone who blames Ozil for Germany being eliminated from the World Cup leave the room now."

We’re still trash. That first half was some pretty mediocre football. If we get relegated, we won’t get back up for 3+ years.

I've heard the Championship is a grind.  More games, rough play.  I doubt this team is geared for that.  Could be another Leeds United experience . . .

Maybe relegation would get Kroenke to sell the club. If so, then I’d be willing to take the pain to get that motherfucker the fuck out of our club. We need a City/Chelsea-esque $2b total squad overhaul to be competitive again.

The bottom 3 teams in the EPL have a combined 3 wins among them. As bad as Arsenal is this year, with 4 wins, relegation doesn't look likely.

this process will take a while. i still have faith in Arteta. this has always been deemed a "project". projects like this don't happen overnight. we have a TON of deadwood that we need to get rid of, but once we get the wages of players like Ozil and Sokratis off the books, plus selling players like Hector, Kola, Mustafi, Laca, Xhaka, etc, we *should* be able to afford somewhere in the neighborhood of three world class players if our scouting is on point. this club needs to commit to Arteta, not only in time, but in money. if they do that, then believe it or not i think we'll be looking much better a year from now. probably still not where we want to be, but heading in a much better direction.

‘Arteta has three games to save his job’ – Sack threat looms large over Arsenal boss, says Groves

The Gunners cult hero believes a Spanish coach struggling for results will find himself out of work at the start of 2021 unless something changes
Mikel Arteta has three games to keep his neck off the chopping block at Arsenal, claims Perry Groves, with there a chance that he could be out of work early in 2021 if results do not improve quickly.

“It seems pretty obvious this comes directly from the ownership, from a lack of care, a lack of fine-point attention. Into the post-Wenger vacuum has come a baffling array of fill-ins and odd-bods, corporate wonks from sport-related fields. Most galling of all is the appointment of the owner’s unqualified son to oversee the labyrinthine, highly-specialised business of elite level European club football.”

We clearly have many problems, but they all start and stem from Kroenke. Improvement will only begin when that cocksucking motherfucker sells the club.

what a performance today! this is what happens when players like Saka, ESR, and Gabi all get a chance to start. Players with skill, and confidence, and an a risky desire to get involved in the game and make some shit happen. please be a harbinger of things to come and not just a one-off. COYG. 🔴

We can hope.  Really need six points from the next two PL matches (Brighton and West Brom), both of which should be winnable.  Should be.

new Dallas Mav Josh Richardson is a big Arsenal supporter.  this was his post-game interview on Fox Sports Southwest yesterday.  the Dallas Mavs play by play guy doing the interview is Mark Followill, who also calls FC Dallas games and called some World Cup games in 2018.  he's a knowledgeable soccer guy and big Arsenal supporter, too.

Pretty? No. But job done.  Came out much better in the 2nd half, created chances, converted one, held on.  One-nil to The Arsenal. Hopefully Saka isn't hurt too bad; didn't look like it from his demeanor in the stands after getting subbed.

Can we string together three Ws in a row? Need three more points from WBA on Saturday.

Rob Holding makes a line-splitting pass to Saka who turns on his man starts bombing forward, as Laca quietly slips into the open space, where he gets the ball, takes a touch, then cooly finishes. THAT is what we need to be doing. we haven't been scoring because we've been going side to side and then whipping in crosses all year. today our talented players made some talented plays and we won. let's get Partey back, let's get our strikers some more looks at goal, and let's keep the got damn win streak going. COYG. 🔴
