Betty Gilpin. Google Nurse Jackie.

You're welcome.

I am on episode 5 still entertaining but needs a spark.

You weren't lying..

And yea, I'm 4 eps in and it isn't nearly as fun as season 1. Too much drama.

I think the nostalgia factor is its net. Everyone that likes it is probably between 35-45 years old.

I'm below your age range and I enjoy the hell out of this show. But I was born like 15 years too late somehow.

guilty as charged, although I think you need to extend your range to 55

the only issue i have with this is that the chicks do not have obvious puffs in their tights from bush... only porn stars shaved in the 80s

I enjoyed season 1. And this season was good until ep 8 I think...where it is nothin but skits back to back. Holy shit I almost quit the series.  Love me some Brie, but her wrestler accent drives me nuts.

Vy do yoo hate Zora, yoo American CAPITALIST scum?

I'm not done with season 2 yet, but I did appreciate seeing Liberty Belle's huge boobs and round butt.

As previously mentioned:

Making Allison Brie look like a chemo patient in this is a national tragedy.  That's my biggest complaint about the series.

I agree.

She an actress in Los Angeles?  She'd be tan or fake baked as shit.

That's kind of the point of her look in this show.  She wants to be an actress but doesn't fit the mold because she's plain looking.  Being skinny also is part of the humor since she's caught up in this wrestling gig.  If she looked the way she does in Community it would be much less believable that she struggles to find work and overall wouldn't fit the character they've created.

To that last point, she thinks she’s producing and directing glow in addition to acting, which I see as her self justification for taking part.

Which makes it all the more insulting that her “friend” who already had a big acting gig had the guts and clout to demand and receive an actual EP credit despite not doing nearly as much.

This would have been so upsetting considering how good S2 was

Netflix reportedly came thisclose to body-slamming GLOW into oblivion after the series’ acclaimed first season. According to the Wall Street Journal, the streamer seriously considered pulling the plug on the Emmy-nominated wrestling dramedy due to disappointing ratings.

“There were serious conversations from the tech side pressuring the Hollywood side not to renew it for a second season,” a source tells the paper. However, creative execs at Netflix — citing GLOW‘s critical acclaim and the importance of remaining on good terms with exec producer Jenji Kohan — reportedly argued that it was worth keeping the show alive.

The creative folks won out; GLOW was ultimately renewed for a second (and third) season. Its first season was also nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series; it lost the top prize to The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
