Yes, AOC is apparently a stupid moron who is too young and inexperienced to be in Congress but this guy is A STAR IN THE MAKING!

I mean, for God sakes, have you seen her playing VIDEO GAMES on THE INTERNET?!?!?!? And one time she danced while she in college.  But this guy - truly the politician of our time.

Yeah, who would have ever imagined:

Quote

A right-wing Republican congressional candidate in North Carolina has taken down pictures he posted to Instagram from a 2017 vacation to the Eagle’s Nest, the Nazi retreat in Germany that Hitler visited more than a dozen times.

Quote

Madison Cawthorn’s pictures were removed Monday, the same day that a report in Jezebelmade the case that he is “following the playbook of other, more successful far-right Republicans in recent years, attempting to rebrand his extreme views … as squarely in the mainstream of the Republican Party.”

In addition to calling Hitler “Führer,” a term of reverence, Cawthorn also named his real estate company SPQR, a term popular among white nationalists, and displays in his home an early American flag that the Anti-Defamation League says has been appropriated by far-right extremists, according to the Jezebel report.

Quote

The AVL Watchdog report published over the weekend includes many of the same details as the Jezebel report, as it spells out the far-right vision that Cawthorn, who would be one of the youngest-ever congressmen if elected, is offering local voters. But it did not include the Eagle’s Nest vacation photos, in which Cawthorn said a trip to Hitler’s retreat had been on his “bucket list.”

After the Jezebel report was published, the pictures began circulating on social media before they were deleted. Among those who shared the photos on Twitter was Moe Davis, the Democrat opposing Cawthorn in North Carolina’s 11th District, a traditional Republican district in the western part of the state.

Cannot believe a college student was having fun instead of sitting around masturbating to debate notes like Ted Cruz

She’s pretty hot.

Madison Cawthorn’s qualification list is a laugher.  He worked at Chick fil A and started a real estate LLC that does nothing.  Amazing that anybody voted for him.

good. I think this is good.

there is a fine between letting trolls live in the dark and them getting comfy in front of everyone to see. i hope we have crossed somewhat in the latter here and we see these folks openly doing/saying shit. better to have them in the open than sitting in a dark corner of the internet infecting new brains

Wait, what?  SPQR is white nationalist now?  More or less than the OK hand sign?

These guys would not have done well in the Roman Empire, much like your typical white supremacist was liable to have suffered under Aktion T4.  They probably would have ended up slaves.

Some girl got her hair caught in his wheelchair when trying to move away from his advances and had it ripped out. Another time he made a move on a girl in his truck when he knew she had a boyfriend, and can’t do anything to get out of the situation. He’s basically a hot handicapped home schooled kid who acts exactly like you might imagine someone who beats off to IG pics of Hitlers pad.

Well, it's time for this new, young "conservative star" to join the ranks of other "conservative stars" before him.

Once applauded for being the youngest member of Congress, he has clearly put forth a strong case to be the youngest member of the Surly "pieces of shit" club.

Stay tuned, to see if he can elevate himself to "soul dipped in dogshit" club. You can put your bets in now but the odds favor his ascension.

https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/madison-cawthorn-paralympics/

You may not have the appetite to read about pieces of shit, so I can summarize his resume.

1. Celebrates victory with "liberal tears" tweet

2. Trump cult supporter

3. Speech at Stop the Steal rally

4. Voted against Electoral vote certification

5. Lied about successful business

6. Lied about Naval Academy acceptance

7. Lied about Paralympic training

"[My teammates and I] would share whatever posts [Cawthorn] put up and be like, ‘Look at what batshit thing he said about the Paralympics this week.… The claims he was making were just so absurd, you have to find some humor in it.”

North Carolina and Congress should do the right thing and help rid the nation of this charlatan.

On the matter of adding Madison Cawthorn to the list of pieces of shit, can I get a second?

Him, MTG, Boebert. The absolute most worthless people in Congress and that’s saying a lot considering 90% of our elected representatives suck butt.

None of them will introduce or pass a meaningful piece of legislation in their careers.  They’ll get bored after 2 or 3 terms and disappear to Fox/OANN or some shitty think tank

I know NC is gerrymandered but it’s fucked up that this guy represents... Asheville?

Asheville is the Austin of western NC. It’s surrounded by super red confederate mountain people. One of the counties on the border with Georgia are famous for right wing militia that harbored Olympic park bomber Eric Rudolph.

Yeah Asheville reminded me of Austin 20 years ago. I’m now a resident of the state - i guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Asheville has a rep elected by the hill people. I was surprised to find I’m represented by a democrat in the north burbs of Raleigh.

Another great example of Republicans giving lots of fucks about abstract issues that have no bearing on the well-being of the American people.

You're not wrong, but the underlying end game and his rhetoric has to do with the push for the destruction of the healthcare system for the middle and lower classes. It's how the GOP strategy works. In a matter of speaking, they are playing the "see, you don't really want healthcare, therefore we aren't really taking it away," game to lay the groundwork for two to four years from now. Government provided vaccines are socialism and you don't want that, DO YOU?  They're pretty devious that way.

No doubt.  As a person with conservative leanings, this infuriates me.  The refusal to engage on policy issues other than with bon mots.  Or mal mots, as it were.

It is probably due to you being an actual conservative who has ethics and a conscience. I, too, have conservative leanings but I'm not going to pay (vote) for some fly by night butcher paper roofer to empty my pockets every time there is a storm when I can ring up someone like @ROFL BOX and get good work for a fair price. Practical policy that involves thoughtful discussion is in every American's best interest, but it is obvious and has been for quite some time that the GOP lacks that interest.

Does...he think the Vatican is state-side?

Doesn't he know that he is advocating against the right of the Roman Catholic Church to enforce its religious beliefs in its own state?  He obviously doesn't believe in freedom of religion.

While I guess it's best of these morons don't do anything of note, they are taking the place of someone who might be useful to the country.
