Are they offering a Pandemic Special?

Pandemic red, pandemic red
He'll steal your woman, then he'll rob your head
Pandemic red, pandemic red
On his white horse, mescalito
He come breezin' through town
I'll bet your woman's up in bed with
Pandemic red
The judge don't know when red's in town
He keeps well hidden underground
But everybody's acting lazy
Falling out and hangin' 'round
My woman said, "hey pedro
You're actin' crazy like a clown"
Nobody feels like working
Pandemic red is back in town
Everybody's looking out for him
'Cause they know red's satisfies
Little girls love to listen to him
Sing and tell sweet lies
But when things get too confusing, honey
You're better off in bed
And i'll be searching all the joints in town for
Pandemic red

Every state surrounding Texas has medical marijuana while Texas sits and does nothing.  We could go for recreational and medical and own the region in production, supply, and profit. The amount of medical dispensaries in Oklahoma is staggering to see when driving through that shit hole. The number cited in the article doesnt really do it justice until you roll through some Podunk town of a couple thousand and there’s like eight dispensaries on the main drag. You have to believe that a chunk of that weed it’s being driven right back across the red river to Texas to be sold.

If you talk to the TX Senate members about legalizing weed to make up for the current budget shortfall you will get openly laughed at.

As we speak, members are drawing up proposals to cut education funding. Again.

Eventually, people are going to have to vote for what makes sense instead of giving unchecked power to fools with no concern for what the people of TX want.

Medicinal only. My recent drive through OKC had me standing outside a dispensary like a 16-year-old trying to buy beer at the 7-11.

$175 for a medical license that took a few days to process.

Mucho dispensaries.

Are you saying that you are not an Oklahoma resident and you were able to obtain an Oklahoma weed card?

Surly P.O. Box and month to month lease on a shotgun shack in OK?  What's my tree-fiddy being spent on?

So like half the state is priced out of the fun? I guess if you bang your sister 175 times, and she promises to parlay the earnings into a medical license, the whole state will get there eventually.

It’s going to be fun to watch all the budget cuts in the legislative session while the Oklahoma government has made 105 million off legalization of weed. Much of it with texan dollars. We have 8X the population so we would probably pull in close to a billion off of it.

Louisiana and Oklahoma casinos parking lots are full of Texas license plates too.

Texas will fuck it up by creating a weed distributor tier similar to our fucked up beer system, limit licenses, put in cost barriers, etc just to pad some pockets. Lucky for the okie weed industry their politicians are too stupid to grift a cash cow properly.

Oklahoma almost forced marijuana shops to have a licensed pharmacist on staff until the OSBP executive director got busted for trying to bribe that rule through the health board.

This. Rural Baptists are killing us. I'm getting sick of the budget of a state as large and diverse as Texas being tied to the price of oil. Legal weed needs to big a big issue in 2022.

Man, those places have "new patient sign up" specials all the time. $99 and you can do it on facetime. It's pretty much medicinal in name only.

CSB/ I went to the dispensary with my buddy (I don't smoke). Not only did the worker let me in the back with the product, he told me "Next time, tell him what you want before you come in and it's all good".

On the Casinos, don’t our dear leaders take regular bribes from Chief Wounded Crotch and Capt. Cajun Riverboat to keep the issue off the Capitol floor each session? OK weed business will probably do the same.

Libertarian CR rant: Fuck all this, and the requirement for middle man distribution in the alcohol and auto industries.

I don’t think they can but I’m pretty sure that some of their stuff makes in down here through friends. Tons of my friends have a stash of edibles from Colorado and California. With Dallas being so close to the border it will be everywhere there, if it isn’t already. They get all the revenue, jobs, and tax money.

Hope you're right.

My web skills confirmed this, but it seems the wait time is for the OK state government to issue the card.

Sorta like our Driver license system in Texas.

Let's have a bunch of us here go in on the cheapest apt we can find in oklahoma to set up residence then get our cards. 20 people paying $30 a month for a 200 sq ft rat infested shack should be normal in OK, no?

I have a buddy that lives in Cali. He's a sales engineer for a software company, and a big AR guy. The California gun laws piss him off something fierce, and he covers the whole West Coast as part of his territory, so he rented a 1Br apt in Anchorage. Took his light bill and cable bill down and got an Alaska ID, and started buying guns and AR parts in Alaska and flying them home in his checked luggage. He even got his boss to let him expense part of his rent equal to whatever 5 nights a month in the Fairbanks Hilton or whatever cost.
