He arm punted and ran good that’s all.

Yeah, he was a dynamic runner. He wasn't a good passer. He had no business playing QB at Michigan. He was a Big East caliber player better suited to play for RichRod at WVU. That was a big part of RichRod's failing, he didnt recruit Big Ten caliber players.

Michigan doesn’t do basic things like blocking and tacking well.  They need a complete staff overhaul.

They should fire Don Brown. And they should find an offensive identity. They brought Gattis in to install a spread offense but we still saw them line up with a fullback and run power football on one of their last TD's so Harbaugh obviously still has his hands in the offense.

Oh no, he definitely wasn't "good", he was just different to watch. He was definitely overhyped, but he never tied his shoes if I remember correctly?

Correct. Which, looking back and thinking about it, I'm not sure how the NCAA ever allowed that.

Damn. Announcers throwing shade at the Michigan program.

Did you hear Urban's comments during Big Noon Kickoff? (If you're not watching that, you should be.) He said they needed to "blow the whole thing up." He didn't say he was calling for Harbaugh's firing (why would he?). He said Harbaugh's a good coach but there's something wrong and they need to examine everything. It starts with recruiting and development.

I didn't, unfortunately. He's not wrong, tho. Start from scratch, find what the hell the problem is. I agree they also need to can Don Brown.

I watch Texas and get pissed at the talent we waste. I watch Michigan and don’t even see talent this year.

See this post. There’s a illusion that michigan can recruit. They can’t they are awful at evaluating talent. And they miss on every 5*
derek green 5* rb BUST

jabril peppers 5* db/safety overrated

Rashan Gary 5* DL #1 player in the country no development could shake a double team

i could go on and on. We don’t recruit at an elite level at all (see Ohio State, Bama, Georgia, Clemson ect).

Michigan's gonna get the Covid right before they play us. Avoid another L, and keep us out of the playoffs.

Playoffs are subjective by the committee. There is absolutely nothing objective about it. Now the Big 10 conference championship have objective requirements. Ohio St should get in on brand alone.

What year was Denard Robinson?

A decade ago. When RichRod was coaching. And he wasn't a good QB.

Denard enrolled at Michigan before Kelly was hired by ND.

Only thing he did was ROAST ND pretty much every year for 400 plus yard of total offense. Not trying to be a Dick but they are the only team he could beat. Other then the worst osu team in the last 20 years with a interim coach (fickell) who had zero head coaching experience coming off tattoo gate. Also if anyone watched that game Braxton Miller (true freshman) missed at least 2 wide open deep balls that should have put the game away. He couldn’t beat state (well he did once and didn’t have a single passing touchdown) or anyone with a pulse.

Wasn't that mostly the defense though?  I seem to recall the Hokerines got killed by the traditional conf I formation a lot.

I thought we were the worst P5 school at either getting QB's who don't pan out, or coaching them down to virtual ineffectiveness (including our current QB on this one), but man, Michigan makes us look like QBU.  Why that school hasn't been able to find a decent QB in almost 10 years is an enigma, esp. because Harbaugh is (or was, at least) a QB specialist.

2010- 244 yards passing 255 rushing

2011- 338 passing 108 rushing

2012- 138 passing 90 rushing (not good)

anyway 2010 and 2011 he touched them. They were honestly the only team with a pulse that he could put those type of numbers on. Those are video game numbers for a guy with no arm.
