34-3 from the time I leaned over to my dad and said “we can probably turn this one off”

Eagles started to get real cute on offense and went away from what worked for them. The zone read and run game was killing us. They decided to go away from that and it killed them. Only 3pts since that start and turnovers galore. But Hurts will be more polished as the years go on.

The only question is what do they do with Wentz. He's getting paid a ton of money to ride the pine.

I bet a team will throw a mid to late round pick at them and kick the tires. Go to a city where the pressure isn’t as high as Philly and I bet he can get back to being passable.

he fucked it when he stopped running half way through the 3rd quarter.  mind blowingly MENSA stupid.

Yep. They panicked and put the game in Hurts hands. Not smart. They really blew it after that pick by Dalton gave them the ball at the Dallas 28. They then imploded and that is when he went for it on 4th and 15. Should have taken the 3. Cut it to 10.

Not for 35 million a year they won’t.  For 20 million after the eagles cut him?  Sure. But when can the eagles cut him?

That's still a lot of money to pay for a QB who just is not that good. They should have went the route Dallas did with Dak and Skins did with Cousins. Franchise him and make him prove it. Even though I think they extended him one year early. Didn't even make him prove it another season. They were so desperate to have him be their guy because of what they gave up to draft him. I never thought it was a smart signing at all.

They are about to be in cap hell. They went all in and it was worth it for them because they got their ring early. I'd love that here. Just one ring and who gives a shit about the years after. But Eagles fans will see how fast those years go by after winning a ring and how far it away it is before you know it.

I agree Pederson's play calling took a side turn at 14-3 and never recovered. But Dallas did a good job on Hurts, not letting him escape up the middle of the pocket as he has the last couple weeks. Eagles are just decimated with injuries on both sides. Fletcher Cox leaving early pretty much ended this one. (Not that it matters but the kicker Elliott has been ass, that played into not taking the FG on 4th-15)

For the future, who knows what they'll do but it will be hard not to make Hurts the starter in the summer. Wentz trade value is putrid, like maybe a 5th rounder and we still have a huge cap hit (though Hurts youth evens it out). The general feeling up here is Pederson will get fired but the GM will stay.

Good news/bad news for Cowboys fans, I don't see the Eagles managing to beat WAS next week even if they try. The banged up guys won't dress which probably includes CB Slay who played today (and Cox the best defender on the team). The good news being you're not stuck at No. 19 in the draft.

If Wash wins, I sure hope Giants beat Dallas or last two Cowboy wins means going from #6 pick to the #16 pick...

At least a loss to NYGiants next Sunday means the Cowboys still end up probably no worse than the #10 pick based on SOS... 😁

I really don't think it matters.  The more I hear about this draft, that less I like it. Unless you need a QB or a WR there isn't shit in the top 15 really worth tanking for.  The only hope we had was finishing Top 5 and hoping a team would give us a  BUNCH of picks to move up into our spot.  Anything after 6 or so isn't a big deal between 6 and 15.

The only REAL disadvantage is losing those spots in the 2nd and 3rd round.
