Jimbo 2020: Strangers with Candi

Those rubes cant seem to get it through their Neanderthal skulls that a quality loss has two components:  a good opponent AND a competitive performance.

Texas losing to ou wasn’t a quality loss, because we looked like shit. Texas losing to LSU is a quality loss because it was a highly competitive game even though there weren’t many lead changes after the beginning.

their games with Clemson, bama, lsu were not competitive and they didn’t get it done vs auburn and Georgia(whom they claimed weren’t very good until they lost to them)

their best win all year was to either a 6-7 miss st team that fired its coach, or an 8-5 ok st team missing 2/3 of its offensive playmakers.

so why do they think they are obviously better than the slew of teams that are better than miss st but worse than auburn?

Is this attrition because of Jimbo (allegedly) being a complete asshole or is it fear of the almighty Spiller or rats/sinking ship etc?

Jackson had a medical and might have eventually spun to DL. They likely never counted him in their long term RB plans

Prince was a pure package deal take, and wasn't A&M good. They likely never counted him in their long term RB plans

Strong was a bad out of state eval who left when he was buried on the depth chart. They were probably counting on him for long term depth

Richardson always had questions about being able to stay qualified. They were definitely counting on him for depth

Corbin was an out of state stud and the one who really hurts them to leave, although he might not ever been the same after his bad injury. I'm not sure why he's leaving. I've seen some theorize that he didn't want to battle Spiller for starters snaps (why wouldn't they both get a lot of snaps?), but maybe he just got homesick? Not sure

Transition classes are rough

Because they're morons.  Try to keep up.

The “same” osu team...minus their starting qb and all American wr.
“Half dozen 4th quarter calls to barely beat” - 5 point lead to start the 4th, extended to 13 with 11:44 to go, where it stayed until osu scored a garbage td with 1:40 left.  Their Q4 possessions went TO on downs, int, 3 and out but Jones muffs the punt and they recover which leads to their late td.  So without OUR mistakes they don’t get any points in the 4th.
their end of half td was set up by a fumbled punt as well so we gifted osu 14 of its 30 points when we should have caught punts and taken a knee. Punting to us was their best offensive weapon.

OSU missed two field goals or they beat aggy without their qb or their all American wr

no sure, but you should definitely continue to think about it and spend more time making even longer, more meaningful posts about it.

Lol this is like Roach for us last year

This is why the people who whined about Ehlinger making a video were so dumb. Dozens and dozens of kids who wouldn't even sniff the draft make these "announcements" every year.

I swear sports fans are so fucking myopic. If things are going bad then "oh noes, what will everyone else think of us?!?!?" Well, generally speaking they won't think of you. That's what.

Also, can someone please address the OL rumors?!

I am not expecting a change at OL and the ongoing, Aggie fan-generated rumors of such do nothing to help Henson and A&M's efforts in the '21 recruiting race. The search right now is for TE and DB and both should be wrapped up very soon. I'll have more today or tomorrow and am about to open up an 'Ask Liucci' session.

Excellent.

Tarp reported that people inside A&M and outside A&M have told him that Henson was looking for another job. He always said in these types of situations, a coach has been told to move one.

So either...

1. Henson couldnt' find another job

2. Or as usual Lucci doesn't know shit.

Looch is always the party line. Could be Jimbo changed his mind about it, or like Mehringer last year Henson didn't find a job he wanted and Jimbo didn't want to actually fire him.

The whole thing started from messageboard posters saying that it would be a good idea to move Henson to TE and find a new OL once the rumor came out that their old TE coach was looking at Ole Miss, and once they realized Henson has some TE coaching background. I'm guessing that turned into an echochamber effect that Tarp ran with and never had any real substance to it, but I'm not familiar with how accurate Tarp has been in the past.

well, she did "personally" believed something about the "U.S. Americans."

She's from South Carolina and her name is Caitlin Upton, which is a perfect name and domicile combination for competing for Miss Teen USA.

because, uh, some, uh... U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and should help the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future. For our children.

That was glorious!
