Ouch (if true of course)

Reddit so again, who knows if it is true

I’ve got a friend in the media that says it’s pretty bad. All rumors, but he’s saying something along the lines of paying players, a local hotel scheme where recruits didn’t have to pay to stay, and one time they bought a recruit the wrong color car so he flipped to UGA lmao.

Lots of people on staff canned over this, so it is more than likely beyond just one scheme in place.

HC, 2 LB coaches, all the recruiting staff, player personnel staff and then a lowly GA. Too many heads rolling for just getting sloppy on recruiting visits. Makes the Reddit rumors way more plausible.

Full list of UT personnel fired today:

-Head coach Jeremy Pruitt
-Assistant coaches Brian Niedermeyer and Shelton Felton
-4 members of on-campus FB recruiting staff
-The director and assistant director of FB player personnel
-A football analyst/quality control coach

This obviously goes on at several schools in that conference and is only being publicized in order to avoid the buyout.  What coach with options do they think they are going to get after pulling this move?

After making the decision to self-report to avoid another buyout, wouldn't it be in Tennessee's best interest to report other schools now?

The SEC hush-code:  It just means more.

I was nearly certain the fallout from Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss would have garnered attention to other *ahem* programs in the SEC-W, but nothing came of it.

Makes me think if the bags started doing work for Sark in Austin, it would be aggy to either call us out on it or ratchet-up their game, long before OUsux would register a complaint

Do you really want to get into a compliance violation arms race with OU?

Haven’t they already established their street cred in that realm?

Both programs would end up paying massively.

But it would be fun to finally set the record straight on how deep UT alumni pockets are, and that has been at the core of the hatred between OU and UT for almost a century.

They're a paper tiger now, compared to what once was.  The game has escalated to some pretty dramatic levels over the last decade.

Can anything risk secsecsec membership more than not knowing how to cheat correctly? I thought cheating was in the dna like the Confederate battle flag. I always assumed the first interview question was to make sure the potential coach knew how to do it without getting caught.

Ubben is a Mizzou alum who went out of his way to hate ISU when he was the Big 12 blogger.  Refusing to go to Ames and always throwing shade.  WRNL responded with a long running joke that his odd proportions would yield some tender meat, and maybe Ubben should be cannibalized.

He's going to fight it obviously and it's going to drag out for a while. Can't see anybody hiring him for anything more than an analyst/consultant until the smoke clears a bit.

Lyons is the attorney who represented David Beaty in the Kansas buyout dispute.

Tennessee, the school that lost the bidding war on Albert Means, ratted out Bama, who then used their Birmingham power base to drive the Vol’s into the college football wasteland, where they have been for almost 20 years wondering in fucking circles.

Phillip Fulmer is a fat piece of shit. Tennessee got what it deserved for continuing to employ such a dishonorable pig.
