Quake II remastered is no longer a rumor, announced at QuakeCon today

  • If you already own it on Microsoft Store, Game Pass, Steam, or GOG, it's a free update.
  • 8-player splitscreen on PC
  • Original Quake II
  • Quake 64 (Nintendo 64 version)
  • All original expansions and multiplayer maps
  • Widescreen, 4k resolution
  • Restored "cut" content, with unreleased maps.
  • New campaign rom the people doing the Wolfenstein games (the new ones)
  • 16-player crossplay PVP, online co-op
  • Fancy control (gyro) on PS4/PS5/Switch

I have been wasting my time on civ6 lately.

medieval 2 had those expansions iirc.  well, at least the first one. 

an engine update fucked with the mouse controls after medieval 2 and i've never really gotten over it.  plus a lot of the later games were buggy as shit on release instead of polished.
