NCAA wrestling championships

Anyone else switching back and forth from March Madness to the NCAA wrestling finals?  Iowa clinched the team title heading into today, breaking Penn State's streak of 4 straight team titles (and 8 of the last 9), but Penn State has crowned four individual champions this evening.  The Minnesota 286# heavyweight wrestled great and then did a backflip after winning.  Remarkable athleticism.

Now time to watch Texas play some hoops.

A lot of folks around here were watching. There were seven wrestlers from the WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League) in the semifinals, four advanced to the finals. One of the finalists was from up around Erie and another two were from out eastern Pennsylvania. Iowa's Spencer Lee and Michael Kemerer are from Franklin Regional H.S. There is a sliver of my high school's district that borders FR. It's a pretty big deal up in these parts. Our two Pitt guys lost in the finals but they made it, and that was good.
