If Hansen has another strong start, will they move him to Saturday, Stevens to Sunday, and kubichek to Tuesday?

That would be ideal, but it would need to be this weekend, so he'd have to cut it short tonight. (Next week we play Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sat )

I think he still needs a little more time to get his arm right. He’s been getting his pitch counts up each start, which is a good sign. A&M in college station next week will be a good test for him, assuming he makes that start.

Good point. It would be refreshing to throw a competent starter at Aggy for the first time in a while.

I believe Nick Kennedy was the last one to earn that distinction, and I’m not sure we knew exactly what we had in him at the time.

Pierce seems pretty set on his bullpen (Witt, Wenzel, Nixon, Quintanilla). Not faulting him here as many other guys that have been given opportunities have faltered, but it would be nice to see them given a chance on Tuesdays in lower stakes situations. Been awhile since we’ve seen Shifflet, Noah, Merryman, or Wallace.

Anyone know what happened to Mason Bryant? Hurt? Redshirt? Just not top 15 pitcher? How about Lebarron Johnson?

Bryant pitched a decent amount in 2019, and he was just plain bad. The general consensus on Johnson is that he has talent, but he would need some work. Not surprised that he probably won’t pitch this year.
