Not far but I understand the game.

In college you get less latitude to be an ass than in MLB.  And you certainly don't get a pass just because you were "defending your dude."

Turned out, there was nothing to defend.  Antico kind of fucked up the slide thanks to the stupid send.  Catcher got knocked back, came forward to show the ball, re-apply the tag, maybe scrap, but Antico just walked away, like Williams and Faltine should have done.

Yeah William's and Faltine fucked up because they were the major instigators in the situation.  The catcher had no need to get back at Antico to apply the tag though.  His movement backs Antico and standing over Antico is what set William's off.  Daly must have said something pretty bad or just wouldn't shut up after being told to by an umpire.  If he was tossed just for the typical shit talking that occurs during those "fights" then that's bullshit.

From the back, the catcher looked like he had bad intentions, but from the front and the umpires' view, it wasn't very bad.  So I don't really see them seeing that as a provocation or participation.

Taking up for his guy. Do you follow baseball at all?

I’m confused on what you are trying to prove. Are saying because Cam was sticking up for Antico, he shouldn’t have been thrown out?

The KSU catcher stood over him. You have to protect your guy. Easy point.

Standing up for your teammates and getting tossed are not mutually exclusive. The umpire has the right to throw a player out for clearing the benches.
