I’m not a clinical psychologist but I imagine Sterns is projecting a bit because he failed to live up to lofty expectations.  He was far more interested in being the football player he wanted to be than becoming the football player he wanted to be. And that anger is manifesting itself in resentment towards his University.

Honestly a fun little FOIA of the Sul Ross statue emails might not be the worst thing to send to an enterprising young Fordham journalism grad.

If someone can explain to me how to do this or just do it for me, I will read every single email live on the podcast

Oregon tried to tell Sa'Vell Smalls that U-Dub was racist so he wouldn't go there. Luckily, he saw through it. That should show that anything goes on the recruiting trail. Pretty much anything.

It'll be used. Sark has to counter it. He will. We'll be fine.  I will not stand for these brakes.

And in recruiting news ...

Brandon Huffman (247):  Four-star DE Zac Swanson names his top four

Spoiler

Four-star DE Zac Swanson names his top four
BRANDON HUFFMAN

Phoenix (Ariz.) Brophy Prep defensive end Zac Swanson named his top four schools on Monday.

Swanson named a top four Kentucky, Oregon, Texas and USC.

Kentucky: "Kentucky is put in there because I think it is a school on the rise. It is also a recent offer and I have talked a little bit about scheme and they want me playing field end which really interests me. It’s also a school that really teaches you how to be a man and work for the things you want. Because it is more recent, I haven't been able to do much but I have been able to look through the website and take a virtual tour and it is a school that really catches my eye. I also have been talking with coach (Brad) White and can tell he wants the best for me along with all the other coaches."

Oregon: "I love the coaching staff there. They were a very early offer for me that was able to maintain a great relationship with me and they are a top team in the Pac-12. I love what coach (Mario) Cristobal has been doing in terms of recruiting and schemes and I think they will be a very high national contender in the future. I have also been able to hop on many Zooms with the defensive line coach, Joe Salave'a, and see how their defense runs up there and how it fits and will develop me as a player."

Texas: "Texas was one of my more recent offers. The new coaching staff up there is unbelievable and I have already been able to make a great relationship with them. Everyone I have talked to says how good the new defensive coordinator, Pete Kwiatkowski, is and how well he is going to do up there and I think I fit in tho the scheme perfectly after talking about it with him. Not only do they run a great defense, I was told they want me to come in and play right away which really interests me."

USC: "USC is just a great school overall. I think that I should always have a plan other than football and they have great relationships there. With that being said, football there is great. It is a top program in the Pac-12 and they run a scheme that would give me chances to play outside at end and switch to interior whenever needed. I also have a good relationship with the defensive line coach, Vic So'oto, which is very important to me, so when I get up there he isn’t a stranger to me."

Swanson said he's still targeting a decision timeline some time later in the spring or this summer.

"I'm still shooting for a summer decision or maybe a little earlier depending on when I can get out to all the campuses," said Swanson.

A four-star in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, Swanson is the No. 20 strongside defensive end in the country and the No. 46 prospect in the state of Arizona in the class of 2022.

4 yards seems like a bit of an exaggeration to me. You can see the entire route at 1:17. It could have been out there a hair more, but that's as good of a pass as we've seen a Texas QB throw in about a decade. I don't really see Dixon slowing down that much, even early in the play.

And the word is corpse. As in, he ran past that dude like he was a corpse.

That was not nearly the best pass we've seen in a decade, it wasn't even Thompson's best throw of the game. This throw was easily way better:

1:39:46 mark and it was as perfect a ball as you can throw.

Anyway, Dixon slowed down massively for the long touchdown. He was at 4 yards of separation and still easily separating from the LB when the ball was let go. He caught it with 2 yards of separation. He also took a 1 yard step from the 36 to 35 yard line. Anyone saying he didn't break stride is obviously wrong. My 4 yard comment is based on my estimate that he would have separated by 2 more yards if the ball was "perfectly" thrown. It's important to note that when a receiver is 4 yards behind a guy who he's obviously faster than it's actually better to underthrow the ball than try to be perfect. I'm not saying it was a "bad" throw by Thompson even though it wobbled and clearly came out of his hand wrong. I'm saying that anyone who says it was a perfect throw and that Dixon never broke stride has no idea what they're looking at on a football field.

Well, someone inquiring about kiddie porn can request the assistance of Subway Jared, or Sandusky. Because that’s their wheelhouse. But it doesn’t mean they should drag those child fucking pieces of shit to the recruiting board for a fucking Town Hall.
