They'll never admit that Wake Forest put up 55 on an SEC defense. Shortly after Wake Forest scored at will on them, Luicci criticized Auburn for making the SEC look bad by getting beat by UCF. He was actually upset that UCF was trying to claim part of the National Championship that belonged to Alabama SEC SEC SEC.

Gabe Bock on Texags radio always gushes about what practices are like now under Jimbo. That there's never a wasted minute in coaching, and how much it gets his dick hard.

It's an absolutely picture perfect day in Aggieland and a wonderful day for football. High 60s with a bit of a breeze. Some pretty interesting nuggets coming out of our ~20 minutes watching Aggie football practice in full pads on Day #9 of spring ball. Here goes...

* Let's start with a few depth chart notes...

-- Sophomore Dan Moore is getting his first public (meaning...when the media is out there) look at being a starter at left tackle. He was running with the first team.

-- Embattled veteran OL Colton Prater was running with the 1s at center.

-- Erik McCoy, arguably A&M's all-around best football player, was cross training with the first team at right guard.

-- The starting OL on the whole ... from left to right: Moore | Sutherland | Prater | McCoy | Green.

-- Kellen Mond saw action with the first team, as Jimbo continues to give both QBs a genuine look.

-- First-team CBs: Fuller and Oliver (Chattman was with the 2s).

-- First-team S: Wilson and Carper (Capers-Smith got a look as well with the 1s and Devin Morris ran with the 2s ... keep in mind that some guys get a day off here and there for whatever reason so this position might not have had every piece out there today).

* TE Jace Sternberger has changed his number ... from #10 to #81. Speaking of Jace, he is getting coached up really hard by Tim Brewster right now because they know how much they need him and how good he can be for them. He had a route where he wasn't running as hard as Brewster wanted him to and then he dropped the ball, up the seam. Brewster ran over to him, yelling, "Jace, you're way too freaking relaxed ... catch the ball!" He got the message and looked better after that.

* I like how much attention these guys spend on little things like field goal block and field goal protection. They basically have started every practice with it. They put a lot of energy into alignment and getting it right every time. Don't assume you're not going to block the kick. Act like you're going to get it. That's the mindset and urgency in which the coaches operate on nearly automatic things like PAT.

* Here are the guys that saw action in the primary kick returner spot: Trayveon Williams, Klyde Chriss (dropped three balls, though, and Jimbo lost it), Quartney Davis, Roshauud Paul, Travon Fuller and walk-on Ke'Undre Azakytu.

* Here are the guys in the secondary returner's slot: Jacob Kibodi, Kendall Bussey and Kemah Siverand.

* The wall on KR that I noticed most frequently was Micheal Clemons, Kingsley Keke and Tyree Johnson.

* Jimbo is so much fun to stand and watch work with the QBs. We're far enough away that we can't pick up on a ton of what he is saying but we get some comments here and there. I saw him working on middle screens to the RBs and coaching up Kellen Mond on the tiny details that come with playing the position the right way. Things like...

-- Chin level and placing your chin where you can best see the field.

-- Arm level pre-throw and at the release.

-- Urgency on hurry-up plays from under center.

-- Timeliness of the delivery and getting the ball out on time and on target.

* Kellen Mond and Nick Starkel had a few nice throws but Jimbo was all over them and you could tell that he was growing frustrated with the entire skill group (QB / WR) during a simple passing drill, working corner routes into the end zone "on air." At one point he dropped this beauty: "Horrible ... and going on air! All the media are standing over there watching and you let them see that!"

* At one point, WR Jhamon Ausbon ran a corner route where he faked to the post and then released to the back-right pylon. It looked like a good route, and it certainly would have been a more than accepted route with Kevin Sumlin and the old staff. But oh no ... not Jimbo. He took a few steps forward and yelled toward Ausbon, "Awful route! You have GOT to snap your head when you fake it inside at the top of the route! Snap your head!"

The little things are absolutely not being missed any longer by the A&M staff. It's a dang beautiful thing to watch.

That's what I got today. We're scheduled to chat with Trayveon Williams and Otaro Alaka in just a bit.

How in the hell can he get all of that out of watching 20 minutes of practice.

Damn.  Even that SEC-west air plays tough D.

Who knew, The Station is Lit!

Cruisin' Texas Avenue with the windows down radio blaring looking all around them to see if anybody notices them.   Sure if you're a high school kid with your first car, but these are two grown men, one that is pushing late 40s.

That is one of them most pathetic things ever.  Par for aggy though.

This is what aggies do about ALL things Texas A&M. I still remember an aggie I know who bragged incessantly on Jaxson Appel. I mean, Jaxson Appel. Seriously?

Say what you want, but Appel was in the right place on every play. Sure, he got there about 3 seconds too late, but he was there.
