The announcer is pronouncing "Montverde" as "MONT-verd". (Like "Montford")

Is that the way the school really pronounces "Montverde"?

It should be "mont-VAIR-day"... but maybe the creator of that school didn't know that.

Just looked it up. The announcer is pronouncing it the way the head of the school pronounces it. ["Holy Fucking Shit... what happened to education?" emoji]

Off the top of my head Texas has San Angelo, Amarillo, and Plano.

EDIT: actually I looked it up and San Angelo has only a half-Spanish entymology. The other two hold, however.
