Yes yes yes.  And he has zero killer instinct.  He’s also gotten lucky his main rival has been tripping all over their dicks.  I’ll pay for his movers and send a nice thank you card. Good guy.  Just not the guy we need in the SEC.

Sorry not sorry

I laugh at OU fans who think this. Please go listen to the Saban rant. It applies here too.

In fancy stats (FEI, FPI efficiency rankings, etc), in this DOWN year, OU's offense is top ten. It will rise a little after tonight too.

OU's program is in much better shape going into 2022 than in 2017.

The defense will be better in 2022 because of better talent across the board. The offense will be better because of better RB. Need to get some WR from the portal, and need OG from 2020 and 2021 classes to show out next year.

I’m not saying it’s hopeless.  I’m saying if he gets offered 12M plus we don’t need to match it.  He’s very very good.  He’s not top 3-4 imo…his scheme is not dead, but it’s been figured out to a degree.
Of course he can win a title.  Look at LSU (and auburn) titles.  He’s as good as those guys and will be in the SEC.

There’s definitely an interesting dichotomy between this board and ou boards. A lot of them I’ve read are hoping he goes to LSU because they think he’s reached his ceiling and defensive coordinators have figured out his system. After this season, there does seem to be some merit to that line of thinking.

You mean his system of lucking into inheriting NFL ready QBs his first few seasons.

College football final will be worth watching once the Bama segment is fucking over.

Talk about coaches that play not to lose. Once your running back was dumb enough to not stay inbounds killing time is not priority one it is getting the first down. With the entire bama defense on the line the eunuch coach calls a running play.

The Grass is always greener.... They have no Idea how good they have it.

They need to take a close look at all their their neighbor states. They are one fired coach away from being Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Nebraska, Colorado, or New Mexico.

Who are they going to get that is better than Riley?  1 or 2 bad seasons in a row and they will be back to being a 2nd or 3rd tier football school.

Agree with this.

Don't agree with this. Save Arky maybe. OU is a much better program than most of those schools and enjoys some beneficial geography.

Great game man. I was telling at the TV at one point about how y'all were gonna choke away another one to OU. Glad I was wrong, and I have rarely been so happy in another team's victory.

I think almost everybody celebrated both of our team’s wins today. Took both to eliminate Ou.

OU is three hours away from DFW.  Their floor is probably at least five wins based just on talent that they can pull out of Texas.

And I'm not sure UNM has ever been nationally relevant in college football.

Agree to Disagree.  OU has very little going for it other than it's a Winning program.  Arky and New Mexico share a border with Texas, but that hasn't really helped their climb to the top.   If OU falls to earth for 2 year in a row, new High Schools grads won't know them as a winning program.  They stay on to in Recruiting, because that keep winning.  One Fucked Up hire and 2 losing seasons, and they are Nebraska.
