So you're doubling down?

He absolutely cannot play a similar role. Ever. His sophomore season TJ averaged 15 ppg, right at 6 free throws per game, and 7.7 assists per game. Plus 2 steals and almost 4 rebounds. TJ was quicker than Askew. He could blow by any defender any time he wanted. He had better court vision. He was a more disruptive defender. He could rebound.

It's a terrible fucking comparison. There is nothing about Askew's game that is remotely similar to TJ's.

And I like Askew.

Let's revisit this next year.

By both Torvik and Evan Miya, Askew is a below-average offensive player. They're mixed on Ramey, but that's probably because he shoots it so well. His passing and ball control stats aren't good. Carr is also seen in a similarly mixed way, with bad shooting stats but the best assist rate on our team. The guards all commit way too many turnovers.

Torvik likes Allen as by far our best player, with Jones, Carr, and Mitchell tied for second. Evan Miya interestingly prefers Christian Bishop, followed by Jones, Allen, Carr, and Mitchell. Disu has disappointed so far this year but is the best player on the team for blocks and defensive rebounding.

Bottom line: We will have to figure out how to put the pieces together or have more players elevate their game. We fit together better as a fantasy basketball team without enough overlap in skill sets.

I don't know who these people are or how they are arriving at these rankings. I personally don't need anything past basketball reference and watching the games to know who plays well on either end of the floor for this team. Carr's scoring efficiency is poor and his AST/TOV rate isn't really any good either - although it's better than AJ and Ramey's. And they really don't commit too many turnovers. Those 3 combine for 4.6 turns a game which is barely more than what Allen, Mitchell and Bishop combine for.
