Uses the ax to pummel the guy. Then returns the ax to its rightful place, seamlessly.

The guy brought his fists to a Telecaster fight.

Not me... I’ve never seen Dave Chappelle.
Chris Rock is pretty damn funny.

I know you're old but Chris Rock to Chappelle isn't much of a jump and Dave is by a lot of folk's accounts the greatest stand up ever so here you go:

I’ve got nothing here. I thought about it for a hot minute and nope, still got nothing.

Love Dave and watched Chappell show on its original run times but greatest ever standup? Nah, maybe of his generation he is in the convo but not even close to GOAT. That’s just crazy pills or at least people who claim that need to watch a lot more standup.

Agreed.  I personally think Pryor is the GOAT, but among current, active comedians he's a part of the conversation at the very least.

I'm still trying to figure out how he got that in. Also makes sense that I was reported he had a gun And a knife

So many questions.  I mean if you re wanting to conceal a weapon, why would you conceal it in another weapon?  And how the fuck did that get past security in the Hollywood Bowl?!

Be funny to see some jack wagon try this with Brenden Schaub or Rogan.  Guys that know how to fight and will stomp you into a mud puddle.

Nothing funny happens when either of those two do standup.

The same reason you hide your weed in a kilo of cocaine.

Pretty much, but they'd wreck a heckler who tries to rush the stage.  Especially Schaub.  Dudes huge and just got his BJJ black belt.

Public records show that Lee most recently lived in Redondo Beach with his brothers. He was arrested by the LAPD under the name Arias-Lee in August 2019 in Hollywood on suspicion of misdemeanor battery but was never charged in the incident, according to booking and court records.

He told police during his arrest that he was homeless and was working as a laborer, records show.

According to a lawsuit filed by one of Lee’s brothers, Lee and his four siblings were deemed wards of the state and raised by their grandmother in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Lee is apparently an aspiring rapper who records under the name “NONAME_TRAPPER.” Instagram accounts with the same handle also identify Lee as

His Spotify page lists a track titled “Dave Chappelle” from a 2020 album, “Born & die in the trap.”

Lee’s brother told Rolling Stone that he did write a rap about Chappelle but described him as a gentle person.

“I don’t have anything negative to say about Isaiah. He’s a performing artist who tries to stay as positive as possible. He does have a history of mental health issues. He does take medicine. Maybe he missed out on taking his prescription. But he’s not the type to just lash out. I don’t understand,” Aaron Lee told Rolling Stone.

Ricardo had 4 great standup acts that I can remember. IMO everything Dave has put out since Killin em softly has been bomb short of maybe the LA one. I would give him a solid 5 or 6, and you can't take away his comedy show. Eddie had 2. Carlin had about 4 good ones. Hard for me not to say he is the goat.

Cuz, sometimes, you have to think outside the (Kleenex) box.

Saw John Mullaney at the HB last night.  No attacks.  He was really funny, but the bulk of his show was his rehab journey.  But he delivered it well.  The pre acts were pretty good.  Forget the first guy’s name, but Dan Levy (not THAT Dan Levy) and Earthquake were both pretty good.  But sitting in a box, good food beforehand, with the whole fam.  Really nice night.

I saw that hour when he was here.  Really solid.  If you think back, a lot of the jokes were not rehab jokes, but he artfully used the rehab premise to work them in.  Until I figured that out, I could not at at all fathom how he was touring an entire hour within 2 months of getting out of rehab.  He only had one opener here, which was a hilarious guy who did some great crowd work centered around "worst thing your parents beat you with growing up".

Jealous. Earthquake and Mullaney seems like an odd pairing to me. But I bet that shit was fun.

Earthquake is amazing.  His story is also incredible if you listen to him on podcasts.  Guys a hustler.  No doubt about that!

Facts.

As far as another great hustle story, Jo Koy told his on Bert K’s podcast a few years ago and it was humbling to hear.

He’s the GOAT. There’s not a close second in my mind.

I'm almost 45, a father of 3 boys aged 10 and under, and I just cemented my status as "loser" by having to google to make sure this dude hadn't gotten into comedy.

That’s as dead on as it gets.

I feel like it isn't because he's clearly exaggerating some stuff to make it funnier. I'm sure Jamie could really nail Dave but it might not be as funny. If that makes sense...
