How had I never heard of bring a trailer until recently? It's the best website on the internet and is going to bankrupt me.

Just last night someone told me about "bring a trailer."

Think I may put the Vette on there.  Need to get it running.

I see the appeal in both. But my personal preference is the redlines. Esp with a black or white paint job. Black 68 with a red c stripe, red interior and redlines is my kryptonite. Or white convertible with red c stripe, red interior and redlines.

Yep, those are porn too...

New shoes for Betty. Got rid of the white lettering on the old BFGs and trying out the Cooper GT radials. Not many options out there for 15” wheels...literally just the BFG and Cooper radials.

Gorgeous car!

I'm restoring a 70 but I've always preferred the 69 -  more aggressive styling. After 2 years of searching had to finally pull the trigger on a 70.

What tire size are you going with on the 15s?  I'm about to pull the trigger on front 225/60/15 and rear 245/60/15.  Up the aggressive look of the 70.

Atta boy. 70 is definitely big body Stang years. That tire setup should match nicely.

I stayed with all around 245/60-15. I thought about going 225s up front but I didn’t want to sacrifice any height. The longtubes are low to the ground. We couldn’t even get it into the tire store’s lift because flanges would contact. Hence why they jacked it up outside the bay.

I always wanted to keep mine as close to traditional original look as possible, but keeping white letters clean was a pain even when I didn’t drive it often. Those bfgs came with the car when I got it 4 years ago.

well crap.. Just got email from shop working on my 1962 MGA. The head is toast - cracked/repaired and cracked again. Not that I really want matching components but they only made that engine for one year and it had a special head. Otherwise known as unobtainium.  Good news is you can modify an early MGB head to replace it but still wanted original.

Those are really pretty cars.  There's a woman around here with an early MGA teal green, and it's simply stunning, the lines are like sex frozen in space.

The purist in me says why? If you're looking for more power just do it the old fashion way....cubic inches. There is no replacement for displacement. /rant

427 Cobrajet engine in that thing would be a nice homage.  Or just buy a new 5+ liter crate motor. It's a restomod anyway so numbers don't mean jack.

Hell, what's a head weigh on one of those like 50 lbs. ?  : )   Vacation in Italy, and a new Italian head in the overhead compartment.  Sounds like a win win.

But what if you only plug 4 spark plugs into the distributor.

What is that shaft???  I mean, I know what it is, but why is it there?

I've seen Roots/Eaton blown 454s, Hemis, and SOHC 427/8s that all have the gears lined up with everything else.

Is that just a small blower?  Centrifugal or something?  Supposed to keep everything under the hood?  Is the engine a small-block, or whatever you FoMos call little ones?

@utxmike05 you and I have very different experiences at that particular discount.  I’ve kept count for awhile now.  They’ve had the wrong pressure and not reset my corners for 8 trips in a row now. 8. And I make a point to tell them every. Single. Time. Before. They. Start.   Been going back to the one by our old office whenever I can.  They went 10 years without fucking up once.

prolly a 351w or 302 small block . kinda weird that someone went to that extent and stayed with a multi belt set up . strange . and that is electronic ignition but i think i know what you meant
