One of my twins wanted a classic car for his 16th birthday, we found a 65 mustang in great shape and he freakin loves it. I’m looking forward to the updates and upgrades over the next few years. The other twin wanted and got a classic square body pick up that is pretty slick too.

Nice, but where are the pics?

Funny you mention that.  I was cruising Netflix the other day, thought I'd check it out and ended up watching several episodes.  I enjoyed it, but if I have criticize it for one thing, the chick in the show is too hot to be the "engine specialist."  I can appreciate T&A as much as the next guy, and I'll admit she was a major reason why I continued to watch, but come on.  It's been done in all the other shows with hot chicks working in the garage.  They'll show a picture of her standing next to her dad's hot rod to show that she grew up wrenching on cars.  Can she degree a cam?  Know the firing order of a SBC?

Just busting balls.  I enjoyed the show. But she's still too hot.

You mean this doesn’t look like your standard grease monkey to you?

Thanks Chad Fuck! That worked way easy. The pick up is a 76 GMC with 3 on the tree, Twin 2 is having a blast learning how to drive a standard.

The mustang is a 65 with red interior, has the small motor which is fine with me. I’m sure at some point I will get to repurchase the mustang when he decides he wants something “newer”

its funny cause twin 1 doesn’t want to add any mods to the 65, wants it as close to factory as he can.

I’d like to have a beer with this guy. Seems like a Mustang DirtBike kinda fella:

You just know he's got that Mariachi band horn. Looks like a 65 body, thunderbird rear quarter pillars with the opera window, and associated trunk with the spare tire option, and  with Cadillac tail fins (?)

Where are y’all getting mustang parts online? Thinking an upgrade on the alternator is in the near future. The headlights change output when you rev the motor.  Also thinking a better headlight would make a big difference. Thanks for any and all help.

Look at the power master 100-130 amp alternators  (CJ Pony parts carries them) and get a new external voltage regulator (mounted on right side of the radiator). That's one of my next projects along with a new under dash wiring assembly.

Supposed to have been a few hundred cars last year......video is from 2014.

If weather isn't too shitty, going to be there. IMG-3454.jpg

I’m not going with super dark tint, but I wanted to darken it a little. Feel like it feeds the overall vibe.

For sure, I like the tinting. It makes the whole monolithic thing happen, and that big lead sled will look even cooler with the darkened windows. All prohibition era gangster like

Question for you guys. My brake pedal sticks just a little. As in when it rebounds it doesn’t go all the way back. It’s maybe 1/4” from back to where it should be and that’s just enough to keep the brake lights on.

Any idea how to fix this? Right now when I drive I’ve sort of perfected just sliding part of my foot under and lifting it back up. Clearly that’s not ideal and not the safest move.
