The biggest heavyweight bout of the summer has been postponed. Tyson Fury has tested positive for COVID-19 and his bout against Deontay Wilder will be rescheduled for later this year, sources confirmed to ESPN.

The fight was originally scheduled for July 24 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with the broadcast on both Fox and ESPN+ pay-per-view. Sources told ESPN that Oct. 9 is the new targeted date with the Manny Pacquiao-Errol Spence Jr. PPV on Aug. 21, and Canelo Alvarez scheduled to fight in the second or third week of September. The fight will still be staged at T-Mobile Arena.

Sources said multiple people in Fury's camp have tested positive. Fury is likely to return to England and ultimately come back to the United States for camp when the time is right.

Another one bites the dust.

Manny Pacquiao will still challenge for a welterweight title on Aug. 21 in Las Vegas -- it just won't be against Errol Spence Jr.

The Filipino senator will now face Cuba's Yordenis Ugas after a retinal tear in Spence's left eye was discovered during a pre-fight medical exam, PBC announced Tuesday. The exam was conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and took place Monday. Spence will undergo surgery Wednesday in Dallas.

Ugas, ESPN's No. 6 boxer at 147 pounds, was scheduled to defend his title against Fabian Maidana in the PBC on Fox PPV chief-support bout. Maidana suffered an injury in sparring Monday and had already withdrawn from the Ugas fight, sources told ESPN. A fight will be added to the card to once again make it a four-bout pay-per-view telecast.

WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo was arrested Wednesday on felony robbery charges following an alleged dispute with a waitress over a bar tab.

According to Texas court records, Charlo was booked on Wednesday on three counts of second-degree robbery stemming from an incident in July. Charlo posted bond for all three charges and was released.

According to the records, Charlo and others were at a bar in San Antonio the night before Charlo's brother, Jermell, fought Brian Castano for the undisputed junior middleweight title. According to the police affidavit, Charlo did not pay a "large bar bill" after his credit card was declined three times.

Bar employees told police that Charlo accused a waitress of losing his credit card and demanded she pay the bill instead. The affidavit states that surveillance video shows Charlo going through two of the waitress' bill collection binders, which contained his identification and another customer's cash payment. When the binders were returned, police said, they were empty.

While the surveillance video had no audio, the affidavit states that Charlo yelled that he would "f--- you all's s--- up." The Texas penal code states that a robbery charge is escalated to a second-degree felony if it involves a threat or "places another in fear of imminent bodily injury or death." The crime is punishable between two and 20 years and a fine of up to $10,000.

Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs), 31, is ESPN's top-ranked middleweight. He is coming off a successful title defense over Juan Macias Montiel in June.

A spokesperson for Premier Boxing Champions, which manages Charlo, declined to comment.

His brother has no shot at being world class. he had like 4 inches of height and like 8 inches of reach on the guy. He dominated without any power and threw a lot of absolute junk punches.
