Ted Cruz is a piece of shit

I don’t see why even conservative Texans are drawn to such a mealy mouth suck up who is the opposite of an Alpha man. Watching him grovel before Trump and Tucker Carlson should be disqualifying.

He also has a badger attached to his face. Now, I don't usually go off on someone who is in a career where looks should not matter but service to the public does. However, knowing that the modern Congressional male has access to the Senate barbershop, the Senator really needs some tidying. Pompeo never came out and said that he got gastric bypass surgery, but he lost a lot of weight after leaving the State Department (which could be attributed to several goals such as campaigning or health concerns. So, Mr. Cruz is a puzzle in that regard. Not a pleasant personality even to his colleagues, an apparent disdain for his constituents (at the very least, no self-awareness) and he seems to go out of his way to look like he needs a bath. Even socialist Sanders doesn't look like he needs a bath anytime you see him on television.

Deserting his state during the freeze to go flip-flop around Cancun should disqualify him. That's "How Not To Do Basic Leadership 101," no matter what his policies are.

Because he's not a lib. Thats it. When given the choice of voting for a spineless fucking pussy with an (R) after their name, and anybody with a (D) after their name, the average texan is currently voting (R). Wasnt always that way, and likely won't be in the future. Politics is an exercise in group think. The idea that at the individual level each voter is carefully analyzing political issues and weighing the personal fortitude of each candidate is laughable. In the aggregate, voters largely vote for the same people as those who they spend time with vote. What do they hear in church, what do they hear at the office, what do they hear when they are squeezing each others nuts on a crucial 4th qtr drive?

You don't think Tucker exudes all that is man?  And yet he made Ted look like more of a lil' bitch than Trump did.  Amazing.

Tucker Carlson as the dominant alpha, I didn't believe it until I watched it.  The man who Harper's Bazaar once called "Indoorsman of the Year"

heh.  I know of this gay dude that owns a moving company in NYC.  They're open 24 hours and can show up on very short notice...like 1 hour.  He makes a ton of dough from gay couples that have a fight in the middle of the night, and one decides to move out IMMEDIATELY.

Of course, they almost always return the shit the following day.

We're talking about a guy who has carried water for Trump for 5 years, AFTER Trump said his dad killed JFK and literally called his wife an ugly hag. He has zero spine.

And called him Lying Ted throughout the process.

This can’t be said enough, and if a candidate against him in a primary or general election has some semblance of a spine (unlike Lying Ted), they’ll bring this up repeatedly and during every debate.

Fuck policy, his campaign opponents just need to emasculate the guy and remind the nation of what a giant pussy he was in 2016 (and beyond).

Since he's full of shit, how about

Septic Ted

???

If you say it out loud with the right cadence, it sounds pretty good.

We're workshopping it.

It really is comical.  His voice is higher than a eunuch at the Forbidden City, yet he looked like Sam Elliott when compared Cruz.

It's long been a tradition for Texans to elect corrupt shit heals. It's kind of our thing.

Dude, Ted Cruz is beginning his 10th year as a US senator...a seat that is elected by a state-wide popular vote.  A seat which he has twice won.  It pains me to say this as a born and bred Texan, but he is the epitome of today's voting Texan n the whole.  Until he is kicked out on his sorry ass, he's all Texan.

Ted Cruz is a reason why a doofus like Allen West moves to Texas thinking he can win a statewide election.

I also love this idea because imbedded in each moving crew would be a psych. major from Fordham who would talk to the jilted lover in the lobby while the rest of the crew moved the stuff out and establish rapport.  The next day the college kid would talk to the jilted lover like, "You know...I think there's still a path forward for you two.  I saw the way you looked at one another.  We're not even done unloading the stuff from last night, we could just drive back, maybe pickup some breakfast and coffee for him on the way...and you could make your case on how you two can move on together.  I'll be there with you every step of the way.  I know love whenI see it." (or something to that effect).  And Boom.......another 24-hour premium surcharge on moving back in.  Sounds like they're already doing that, but in my scenario-we get even more results and get some nice kids some clinical hours credits.

"Moving Sofas.  Moving Hearts.  Moving Forward."   212-555-LOVE.

This could be yuge!

As I understand the deal, they (in an old box truck) pick up the shit on short notice, haul it to a drafty warehouse somewhere, and charge a 30 day minimum storage fee.  Almost always they are called to haul it back to the original location within a day or so, often without even having unloaded the truck.

I was told about this by a friend of mine, who's a flight attendant on AA.  She works JFK-LAX as her regular gig. The owner of the company, himself a married gay man, has business interests  and homes in both NYC and Los Angeles, and is a VERY frequent flyer between the two  (ex-plat on AA), and she's known him for years. He finds it just as funny as we do, per her reports.  The two of them have know each other for 20 years plus, and she's been a guest at both of his homes.  She says that the guy is super funny and fun to be with, as is his spouse.

if Don Huffines loses his bid to be governor (at this point, i'm not ready to say "when" he loses), wouldn't surprise me if he goes after Ted in 2024.

Cruz would be a pretty ripe target for Huffines.

A friend has speculated that Huffines' run for governor is based on the idea that Huffines knows he has very little chance, but it's a great way for him to raise his statewide profile and knock off another Republican.

Cruz's terrorists comments were really fucking ballsy and alienating to many Republicans, but I think him getting eviscerated on Tucker made things worse.

Seriously, you may wish he was anti-Texan but I have bad news for you: He is the absolute fucking epitome of Texas. He leads the wonderful group of Abbot, Huffines, West, Paxton, Gohmert, Cornyn, Crenshaw, Miller, etc. How can he possibly not be more Texas?

This is still one of the fastest castrations I've ever witnessed in politics.  Ted's carefully crafted, well-rehearsed monologue was instantly rendered useless.  His campaign staff had likely spent the 36 hours before this skit devoting themselves strictly to the "Tough Ted" brand and trying to steer the campaign in this direction -- the deployment of Ted's new "gloves off" approach.  And then poof.  Gone.

In some ways, Cornyn concerns me more than Ted, because you don't hear much about what Cornyn is doing, nor do you see him out there.

It's the quiet ones you have to worry about.  Like if you had a random group of people, like cheerleaders or Hot Topic cashiers or whatever, in some kind of large enclosure inside of your sound-proofed garage.  The ones crying or screaming that their dad or boyfriend or whatever will kill you when they get out - you don't have to worry about them, they are scared and just projecting.  It's the quiet ones who have retreated to a corner and are just staring at you that you have to be wary of.
