No way Sam stays for fifth year 'victory lap'. That boy is going to rack up 4000+ yards, 50+ TDs, a Heisman, a Natty, and 5+ homicides of dudes he trucked on his way to the #1 overall pick.

You heard it here first.

We have a new neighbor, Uncle Elon needs to make an offer he can not refuse.

Oh, thought we were talking about UT all time. Didn’t see FBS active. I’m sorry atom. I have your same feelings. You’d think a Trevor Lawrence or some such would trump Sam.

No biggie, Sam benefitted by starting so young.  A lot of other active QBs didn't start until sophomore/junior years.

Ian Book sucks.  Chase Brice sucks.  Sam Howell had a bad day.

Sam Ehlinger and Spencer Rattler are off to the races.

Sam will have to double up Lawrence’s numbers to get past the career achievement, 1st overall pick status of Lawerence.  Clemson would pretty much have to drop a game early and we’d obviously have to go undefeated and win the B12 with Sam putting up 400 and 5 against OU...twice.

Two observations
I had no idea the gap between Sam and Colt was so large (passing TD)
That Case is on the list is awesome for
him but depressing for the history of Texas QBing

Yes but the fact that Bobby Layne is still on the list shows why people who doubt his status as an all-time Longhorn great and possibly the 2nd best QB in Texas history (he is IMO) are goobers.

The fact that he was #1 on the list from 1947 to 1992 is damn impressive.

So the hosts were talking on Sportsradio so this may all be bullshit, but if Sam wanted - he could come back next year and play also due to COVID this year does not count as a year of eligibility burned?  They said there is no clarity regarding scholarship totals from the NCAA, but was just curious if that was true.
