This.  All of this.

But remember how we talk about the shittiest of cops?  You know, the C- student in high school, who always tried to play Billy Badass, but everyone laughed at him because he was so fucking pathetically incompetent?  Well, NOW he's got a badge and a gun!  You all better respect his AUTHORITAY!

The most dangerous people in the world are pathetic, insecure fucking losers who somehow end up with weapons/power.  DOTARD is that fucking pathetic loser.  There's nothing about him that isn't loser and failure. Nothing.  His business.  His personal relationships.  His politics.  Nothing.  Well, correct that -- there is one thing about him that says success: he's a good con-man.  He's managed to convince the moron masses that he actually is successful and has something to offer.  He's a Potemkin village of a man, but man...what a Potemkin village.

This is true. Your fault is you attribute it to the entire country, when in fact it’s a problem caused by one particular dying party.

One of my wife's friends (a teacher) earlier this year, had a student do something that was pretty fucking serious - parents were called in, big meeting with a bunch of people (including somebody from the district).  The kid's parents denied it up and down and said their precious little kid would never do that.  Principal says "well, we have video, let's watch it."

Did the parents change their tune and get upset with their kid?  Nope, they flipped the fuck out that there was video, they were threatening to sue the teacher, the school, and the district over the video (parents know there are cameras, and they are all in very plain site). etc. etc.

Those parents are the GOP.

He called Trudeau a "two-face"

That's how you know he's sliding into dementia.  Perfect layup joke about the fact the guy is literally a "two-face", one being White, the other being Black-Face...and Trump missed the opportunity.  The King of Insults missed the most obvious one in the World.

I love that video, you know they eventually dove into more serious insults later on after the camera was off.  And President Fuckstick couldn't handle it so he magically had to return to D.C. after whining incessantly that the House needed to postpone their investigational hearings while he was off handling serious NATO business.

It really had to sting him, watching Boris Johnson laugh at jokes about Trump.  He thought they were boys.  Say what you want about Boris Johnson, he's no idiot.  He knows Trump is a moronic puppet and like any drunken Brit, he knows humor when he hears it.

Trump couldn't handle them laughing at him during the White House Correspondents Dinner.  Obama being a black man ruffled his feathers probably more but this has to be nuking his brain. Prepare for another call to dismantle NATO.

It won't be a call to dismantle.  He'll just tweet out "We're leaving NATO.  Europe can take care of itself."

sometimes i think about this specifically, how fragile our system is that we are LITERALLY where we are...because Trump could not stand Obama poking fun at him.

That he will send out without consulting with the Joint Chiefs, the Pentagon, his cabinet, etc.  He probably will give Hannity and Carlson a heads up, however.

Another likely blow to farmers. I've always thought of these programs as helping both the poor and the food producers.

But the Trumpists who believe themselves to be hard asses will applaud and wave their guns.

And grocery stores and their employees.

And plenty of Trumpists will be impact, they just don't realize it yet.

Except per the usual, Walmart will come out ahead. The minimum 20 hours per week required is enough to work at Walmart part time sometimes w/o benefits (some part timers work enough hours to qualify) and have Snap that is used at Walmart. Around half of their work force is part time. Contrast that with Kroger umbrella, second to Walmart in the grocery trade. Kroger recognizes union labor; sometimes it is rancorous, but at least they acknowledge labor contracts.

Gohmert sounds a lot like EMAW.  "You can't rely on hearsay!"

How was the witness relying on hearsay?  Was it merely to offer evidence of what was said?  Because that’s fine and dandy.  You just can’t rely on hearsay to prove the truth of what was said.

Or....there are several rather well-known exclusions to the hearsay rule - that is, these things aren't hearsay at all.  Like admission of a party opponent, for example.  So, see, it's not hearsay at all to testify to, for example "I was standing right there when DOTUS said to Pence 'you're damned right I shot that man in the face in the middle of 5th Avenue.'"

And I should be more clear: words of another are not hearsay unless they are offered to prove the truth of the matter asserted in those words.
