This board lacks nachos.

Personally, I think the finest way to serve nachos would be with a grated & melted cheddar + jack mixture on the chips themselves PLUS a righteous bowl of great queso on the side, because inevitably some of the lower chips don't get their optimal coating of melted cheese.  But that's just me.

1. Take store bought corn tortillas. Cut in half. Pan fry in about .5” of oil until almost burnt.

2. Make your own refrieds.

3. Put beans on “chip”. Cheese, japs, brisket.

4. After they come out of oven put a little cojita on.

Stuff your face.

This is how the wife makes them.

Speaking of the Texas Chili Parlor, does anyone know what's up with their website?

It's in Indonesian and running it through Google Translator gives some strange phrases.

We used to eat a lot at ZuZu when our kids were younger, and I would usually get the chicken nachos.  Smothered with refried black beans and mozzarella cheese, and I'd load up with extra pico and diced peppers at the fixins bar.  There are better nachos in town, but if I want something quick and cheap to pick up on the way home, they're pretty solid.

I always forget about ZuZu.  Their refried black beans are legit.  We're the same -- now that our kids are all teenagers for some reason we just never go.
