my brother is in town, and his (much bigger) dog and Santi are just loving life together. Santi is teething so she (yes, we have a female dog named Santiago. we also have a female cat named Julio 🤷🏼‍♂️) loves to bite, and Charlie seems to love getting bit and then swatting Santi halfway across the room. it's been, uh, hectic this last week, lol.

Sorry Deej, but that title goes to these two assholes. We adopted them separately from our local humane society. Both are Catahoula crosses. One is pit bull and best guess on the other one is greyhound.
I got them to keep critters (mostly coyotes) away from our place. Like any good man does, I lectured my wife about how these are ranch dogs, their purpose to work for us, and they are tools, not pets. You know, basic Man of the House rules.
The first time it got really cold that winter, I received the above picture with a message that said, “Do you think they like my couch?”
They’ve slept near her ever since. 🙂

Let me tell you about the pup who the emergency vet said wouldn’t make it through the night, and if she did, it would require a making a decision over what it was worth to keep her alive. Hahaha…

Took Willow (2yo lab) and Olivia (17yo Pug/JRT/Chihuahua mix) out to the Sandy River Delta. It's a 1000 acre dog park and might just be doggy heaven - at least Willow thinks so.0afb432da4d0b968e63e9b042990a7d5.jpg14caf62f200af14aa1f9c938b35baf3b.jpg

Yep, that looks like heaven to me for these two.  Great doggos.
