I found it pretty funny how the Sooners are trying to spin the decommitt on reddit:

And here I thought they were prioritizing sub average length and slow DBs.

That's perfectly reasonable considering their defensive performance over the years.

That's an early OV for Washington. On the heels of the OU guy putting in a Texas CB today.

That is one way to make sure you get him to visit. Any OV on a spring game by one of our staff's priority, our best hope is no commitment within 4 weeks. Not sure where he sits on our board but seems our staff has invested some time here.

You don't land a Lee Brice concert and not go all-in on that weekend. C'mon, man.

Spring football game concerts are plagued by C list country stars and hip hop artists whose biggest hit was 15 years ago.

Don't try to throw shade at Ludacris as a has-been and try to equate him with your shitty ass spring game "entertainment" never-was Lee Brice. Take the fucking L.

OU's TFB site has these players on commit watch, setting the O/U on silents at 3.5:

Some good players in there, but happy they seem to largely have a different big board than us.

Funny cycle - except on the DL the three big regional programs all seem to have very different priority targets.

All three differences are quite different schematically, so this may be a trend moving forward. That, and both UT and A&M recruiting a lot more nationally should allow all three programs to recruit at a higher combined level than most times in the past, although I expect aggy to still regularly finish third in the group.

That’s a lot of out of state guys to hold on to after using their OV.

Does it really matter though? The only difference between an OV and UOV is whether the school pays for it above the table or below.

If the kid likes it (seems unpossible because Norman is a shithole), dickgobblers will get them on campus again.
