Sorry for your narcolepsy.

The copy of the check, signed personally by Trump while in office given to a porn star as payment for keeping quiet about an illicit affair that he had as a married man to a wife who had recently given birth, would alone be impeachment worthy by any other president. Then, there's all the rest.

Have another cup of coffee. Maybe you'll finally wake up to reality.

Yeah that's never happened before

How is that anything near impeachment? He paid off an affair to be quiet? OK.  Although disgusting he would cheat on his wife especially while pregnant it is not impeachment worthy unless he lied about it under oath.

It sure seemed to be impeachable in the 90's.

Of course ole Bill made the mistake of agreeing to speak publically under oath.

I'd bet my house that he lied about it in his written statements to Mueller...which are oath bound

How long does each questioner get? At least 1 or 2 Democrats should spend their time probing something that doesn't appear at all in his opening statement.  His time as deputy finance chairman at the RNC. That should get some folks in the room squirming.

That would be delicious.

What I really love is watching an idiot ask for a link to support something another poster said, have the information provided to them, fail to understand the data presented to them, and then accuse the poster of misreading the data, only to disappear from the exchange. That’s the real shit that keeps this place on point.

No, no, this is the part where you bring up minor sins from the Democrats past and muddy the discussion on another legitimately outrageous action by the trump admin. Did you leave your script at home today or something?

I don't know. As dumb as Trump seems, he is pretty good at avoiding firm statements by using non sequiturs and answering questions with other questions. His written statements probably all begin with Hillary or fake news.

I know his testimony yesterday was private, but it surprises me that nothing has come out from what he said. I would think the both sides would be leaking like a sieve if his testimony helped their side.

If it’s bad for the Republicans, a Republican wouldn’t want it out there.

If it’s good for the Dems, they’d probably rather wait for it to come out in the public hearings.  More dramatic.

I'd think if it was really damaging to Trump, the Dems would stay quiet, in confidence that it will all come to light soon enough.  And if that's the case, Reps don't want to say a peep...they're, likely, trying to figure out their individual crab-walk moves away from the Cunt in Chief.

For a long time I was staunchly against cohen. Throughout every appearance he made on TV prior to flipping, he continuously showed signs of deception. All of this he's since admitted to.

I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say and learning whether he is still displaying signs of deception or if he's being forthcoming and truthful.

Eh, he's a piece of shit.  But he's the worst possible thing for Trump:  a loser who has nothing more to lose, who has a story to tell with receipts.

Absolutely. I'm glad he's decided to work with Mueller and his team.

Now, whatever may come of all of this is something else entirely.

Not a god damn thing is going to come of it.  He could come out with proof that dotus killed someone and all we will get is furrowed brows.  Congressional Rs have completely abdicated their duties and should be tried for treason.

Oh shit a senior Dem on the committee just said they have a ton more documents that aren't public yet that corroborate Cohen's testimony. And said they're going to be asking questions about Russia in the hearing. "A significant amount of the questioning will be on Russia"

Interesting, I thought Russia collusion was off the table for the public hearing, perhaps this line of questioning will be around his Russia dealings before the campaign?

I can't help but wonder how much better off we would be if Cohen had come out with all of this (60 Minutes, Esquire, whatever...) before the midterms.

Dude could have been a national hero instead of looking like a vindictive weasel.

The Senate may have flipped.  Otherwise, not much else would have happened.  2018 was a easy year for incumbent Republican senators.  It would probably have taken a video of Trump getting pegged by a Russian hooker to have had enough momentum to put the R's in the minority.
