Anyone else remember LaQuvionte Gonzalez? Highly recruited, once homeless kid from Cedar Hill that played at A&M for 2 years, transferred to KU, got kicked off the team, played at an NAIA school in 2017, then got cut from the Rams in the pre-season.

Anyways he made the San Diego Fleet roster as a WR and is playing against SA tonight. Quite a character.

Sounds like a real rags to rags story. J/k.

He was the dumbass who posted a wad of cash on like his insta story or Twitter or whatever, right?

Anyway, he has some very tasteful tattoos:

Well, if he truly was homeless, I would say that he should be cut a little slack.

Most homeless people don't have a cell phone AND "a wad of cash" at the same time. I also doubt that he had a solid family structure around him (on the street) to help guide him.

The tattoos are awful. Hopefully he can make enough money to have them removed. (For my sake.)

Some of the rule differences:

  • Broadcasts do not have television timeouts, though the league has promoted in-game product placement opportunities for marketers.
  • There are no extra points. Every touchdown will be followed by a two-point conversion.
  • There will be no kickoffs. Teams will start halves and the possession after a score on their own 25-yard-line, as if there had been a touchback.
  • The play clock has been reduced to 35 seconds, down from 40.
  • Turnovers and scoring plays will not be automatically reviewed; each team will get two challenges and all plays inside the final two minutes of either half will be automatically reviewed.
  • The AAF will allowed outside organizations to handle concussion-safety protocol.
  • Overtime will mimic college rules, with each team getting one possession. But teams will begin with first-and-goal from the 10-yard-line. If the game is still tied after one possession, it will end in a draw.

lol @ the head coaches.

Rick Neuheisel, Mike Martz, Mike Singletary, Old ball coach, Dennis Erickson

They just interviewed Spurrier before the Atlanta - Orlando game(who I had no idea was coaching in this) and he looked giddy as hell.
