Record ratings for Fox News. Highest in its 23 year history.

Fox News audience grew by 3% while MSNBC's shrank by that same amount and CNN's shrank by 9%

Snowflakes need daily affirmation that they need to support Trump.

Yeah. Fox News seems to be in crisis.  Previously the true conservatives and the trumpkins seemed in lock step. Now they’re arguing.

when soldiers start dying, it’s going to get worse.

Few things:  Runs counter to the ending endless wars the Republicans pretend to care about.  Could seriously hurt plenty of Americans’ bank accounts, not to mention American companies.  Who knows what all international financial interest the Murdochs have.   Could easily lead to massive losses at the election booth in November.

The elephant in the room that ties all of that together, is that idiots on various Fox News shows are encouraging Trump to do this shit. If Trump keeps feeding off of those idiots and gets us in a war, and American troops start dying in large numbers, and Republicans get their asses kicked at the polls in November, there’s going to be a lot of anger at Fox News from the BMD-types, corporate advertisers, a shit-ton of people who push to boycott FNC advertisers, etc..

This isn’t 2003 where all of the media outlets were sucking off the White House over being embedded during the Iraq invasion.   Fox News is going this one alone, and the Murdochs know who will be blamed.   People like Tucker know what this will do at the polls in November.

This is the scariest thing to me - the power FoxNews has to influence our idiot President.

It's like they have taken their key demographic, the susceptible senior citizen with time on their hands, and inserted him in the White House.

Saw a documentary over the weekend on Edward Gallagher. The guy is a total murderous scum bag, but the way he and his lawyers coordinated with FoxNews to gain the attention and influence of our President was masterful (and scary).

He occasionally exhibits enough self-awareness to make me think he’s not really buying into the whole thing, but’s he gonna ride the gravy train until the wheels come off.

Tucker is one of the few smart ones and he believes what he needs to believe to make himself more famous and to make money. Whether he "really" believes in what he says doesn't really matter because he doesn't "really" believe in anything. He saw a niche he could fill by mainstreaming white supremacy and he's going to keep doing it until he decides that it's hurting him more than helping him. But remember, when he makes a good point it isn't him making an honest assessment, it's a tactic to further white supremacy. The far right isolationists aren't opposed to military intervention for noble reasons, they oppose foreign military adventures because they'd prefer that our troops be used to hurt brown people here at home.

It's obvious that Trump wanted this to be the anti-Bengazi.  Iraq protesters were beating down the embassy walls in Baghdad, and he decided to take out what very well could have been the top general behind the protesters.  Trump may have saved some lives at the embassy but I don't think that is the case.  Our embassy in Baghdad was ever in danger like what happened in Bengazi.

But.....  Now Trump is warning of high probabilities of retaliations and he's putting troops out there. We could be looking at having 100s if not ultimately 1000s of American deaths if this escalates. Fox News announcers obviously note this possibility.   I do think that someone will talk with Tucker and tell him to stop with the criticisms of the Trump Admin.

If things were reversed and Iran had assassinated a top U.S. general or senior politician with a drone strike on foreign soil, there's not a chance in hell we wouldn't be referring to it as a terrorist attack, right?

Or imagine if a foreign country had assassinated a 3rd party military leader at a US international airport?  It'd be fucking armageddon.

What the hell does “revved up like a deuce” mean anyway?

Although it actually refers to a hot rod (something about which I know very little), it is tempting to reply that it is that feeling one gets when the green apple quick step has you racing for the toilet.
