But carry on with your nonsense and see where it gets you. Drop this crap about quoting me and trying to hold it against me. That act is tired and it's done. If you don't think Fisher is a "relationship guy" with these kids then you certainly don't follow enough to act like you know what you're talking about anyway.

God dammit, Putin would be proud of Lucci's spin game.

Don't you use my own words to show me I'm a liar, (repeats the same spin about Fisher is a relationship guy )

I think Tarp was trying to calm the masses here, but this article made me laugh several times.

A&M's got over 20 draft eligible players in 2021 and a ton of seniors

That usually translates into success on the field -.

How will the Aggies fare in the 2021 NFL Draft?

Given the ability of Fisher and his staff to get the most out of their talent when they have the numbers, it's time to take a look at possible targets among the Aggies for the 2021 NFL Draft when they should have more of a draft eligible laden roster.

QB KELLEN MOND
Mond is generally considered to be either the best or second best quarterback in the Southeastern Conference this upcoming season. He seemed like that he could be a breakout player in 2019 but the lack of top end speed among his receiving corps, a consistent ground game, and protection issues resulted in him putting up similar numbers to his sophomore season.

The league seems to be desperate to develop quarterbacks which results in more quarterbacks being taken higher in the first round than any other single round of the event. However, the track record of draftees in the NFL beyond the first round is such that just nine were selected in the last six rounds of the 2020 event and four of them went in the seventh round.  Thus, if Mond isn't a first rounder, he probably projects as someone that would go in the middle to late rounds or not get drafted at all.

In order to get drafted, Mond will have to continue to improve all aspects of his game and especially his accuracy and decision making so that he can put up bigger numbers via downfield throws. His durability will be a plus as he's started for over 30 games in his career and doesn't take plays off for any reason. In addition, he will interview well.

OL CARSON GREEN
Green arrived as a tall prospect with a big frame full of potential in Aggieland and he's filled out into someone who has the ability to adequately mirror pass rushers and the footwork to be a more than competent drive blocker in the run game. He's better as a down blocker on man blocked plays. If he can play lower and overcome anchor and leverage concerns, he could be a second day pick with his combination of size and physicality. However, he might slide if he is projected strictly as a right tackle or as a guard.

DE MICHEAL CLEMONS
Clemons has all of the physical tools but he hasn't played a lot of football and sometimes it shows when he's on the field. If he gets to the NFL Combine, he's going to test well. The trick for him will be to match his measureables with productivity which will come through better technique and the ability to escape blocks and make plays in 11 on 11 situations.

As with Mond, if Clemons is found to be attractive by the right team, he could go higher than projected and especially if someone thinks that they can unlock his potential. In addition, he'll probably get a real thumbs up from the A&M staff who have consistently gotten him onto the field.

LB BUDDY JOHNSON
Johnson is a great story as he came to Aggieland as someone who had played a lot of different positions but settled into the linebacker spot and started a few games as a freshman. He came into his own during the 2018 Tax Slayer Gator Bowl filling in for Otaro Alaka and then became a leader not just by words but by deeds last season as he led the Aggies in tackles. He's filled out his frame, is physical, but he is going to have to prove at the combine that he can still run like he did in high school. He'll also interview well. Johnson would help his status if he can reach the 100 tackle plateau while playing within the confines of the Aggies' defense and he should receive more protection from a front four with greater numbers of upperclassmen than he did in 2019. Not only that, the defense needs to play at a higher level in terms of finishing high in the national rankings.

OL JARED HOCKER
Hocker saw time as a freshman and then was good enough to start as a sophomore before a season ending injury put him on the shelf. However, the offensive line seemed to take a step back in 2019 although that wasn't entirely their fault. From an individual standpoint, Hocker will have to show that he has increased his mobility and ability to break down and win pad level. He'll also have to test well at the combine.

CB ELIJAH BLADES
Blades has good length, speed, and anticipating which means that he should be good at playing the deep ball and recovering if he gets beat early. He's also relatively fluid because he's not a thick guy which translates into him being able to flip his hips and close on throws, particularly deeper ones. However, his frame doesn't translate well into run support. Moreover, there's got to be concerns over his durability as he missed time in both fall camp and during the season. In addition, the league seems to prefer corners that are 6 foot 1 or less and are filled out and the taller they are the more physical they need to be.

Most of all, he's one guy who's got to stay on the field in 2020.

OL RYAN MCCOLLUM
McCollum filled in at guard during the last half of 2018 when Trayveon Williams was making a run at the single season rushing for the Aggies. He's versatile, having played tackle in high school but filling on the interior at the college level. He was slated to be the starting center at one point in fall camp but an injury set him back and he basically served as a backup at both guard spots for the remainder of the 2019 season, playing a couple of series per game. If he can stay on the field, then he could find his way into the middle rounds as centers are highly prized in the league these days for their ability to block nose tackles and make line calls in pass protection.

LB ANTHONY HINES
Hines was a tackling machine in high school and over the last half of the 2019 season, averaging about six stops per game or so. However, Hines has games where he's not quite as productive near the line of scrimmage (angles, etc.) and he's in the 220 to 230 pound range as opposed to being like a lot of backers who are more filled out for run support and play at 240 pounds or more. Since he missed the 2018 season due to injury, he's already draft eligible even though he's listed as a junior.

WR JHAMON AUSBON
Ausbon is a physical receiver who has soft hands, possesses the ability to take the ball away from people in contested situations, will run precise routes, and will interview well and impress the league with his knowledge of the game. However, he doesn't have a great catch radius or top end speed. He needs to put up big numbers in 2020 and in particular make more downfield plays to sustain the interest of the league.

DE TYREE JOHNSON
Johnson redshirted as a freshman and is also draft eligible. He's got a nice first step at times but doesn't put up big numbers in the Aggies' defense. If he can generate more sacks in 2020 then he'll start to get the attention of more NFL teams.

DT JAYDEN PEEVY
Peevy is long and has been productive during his stints primarily as a third tackle in the Aggies' defense. He's more of a run down player as opposed to a three tech who can get upfield and may be too tall to play the nose. However, he has great hands which he uses to free himself up to make plays. In addition, he might be someone who winds up on the outside in a three man front and as an anchor versus the run on early downs at the next level. Also, he may be able to test well at the combine and generate more attention that way, especially if the Aggies are better on defense in 2020.

OL DAN MOORE
Moore has played left tackle in Aggieland but there's little question that he will slide inside to guard at the next level. His attributes (size and strength) will be better utilized on the interior and especially if he improves his mobility at all prior to the draft. However, there are so many players who can play guard that he probably won't be taken until the later rounds at best due to this factor.

FB CAGAN BALDREE
It's hard to know how well Baldree will test and he's not going to see nearly as much action as most of the Aggies' skill position players. Nonetheless, in a league that's looking for lead blockers in short yardage situations, someone might be willing to take a flyer on him.

LB AARON HANSFORD
Hansford won't start but he might be an interesting prospect for someone, particularly if he can find a way to get to the combine or enough people see him at A&M's pro day. He's going to test well like Clemons with a good combination of straight line speed and size and most franchises want their linebackers to be in the 240 pound range.

CB TRAVON FULLER
Fuller has been a career backup and will have to go the undrafted free agent route.

DB CLIFFORD CHATTMAN
Chattman is long which has interested people but he has trouble staying healthy. If can stay on the field at all, he might be someone who can generate interest with a big senior season via a position (the nickel) that does tend to rack up stats in A&Ms defense.e

S KELDRICK CARPER
He's a career backup who will generate more interest as a potential coach than player after he leaves A&M due to his attitude and knowledge of the game.

WR CAMRON BUCKLEY
Buckley probably won't test well but he is a fluid route runner who gets his hands on more throws than he should (which also leads to more incompletions than people think are warranted). If he can win the starting slot job and generate some numbers then he'll garner some attention which could lead to interest per a combine invite. He's also a physical player who will block in the run game and play with great effort.

CB MYLES JONES
Jones is long and is at his best when he can play in a trail position with the ability to either break up or forestall throws due to his length. He can also be physical at times although he is a better pass defender than in run support. The key for Jones will be to test well and also perhaps show that he might be able to play safety at the next level as opposed to corner, especially as the NFL tends to draft taller corners who are filled out or more compact ones who can really turn their hips. Now let me tell you about how that shitty supporting cast will also get drafted.

Mond best or second best in SEC?

Let's pretend he's the best for arguments sake. Looch or whoever wrote that didn't factor in transfers (Costello will throw for 5k next year.  UGA got a decent transfer). Trask at Florida was better arguably then mond. Mac jones is going to be pretty good.  Kiffin seems to work magic with whoever is his QB. Hog is now running veer and shoot, probably improve QB play. Is Guantanamo returning at Tennessee? Probably not better than mond but it's not a slam dunk. USCe has hilinski, uber prospect. Have no idea who is at Kentucky but they usually suck at qb. LSU breaking in a QB. Might be ok but that's not certain.  Vandy...I don't need to add.

Point being,  Mond is by default, preseason ranked high in SEC but it's going to be pretty entertaining when 8 QBs are better at the end of the season.

First: I would like to just say that the premise for this article is fucking STUPID. "Lets predict how the 2021 draft will go before the 2020 season is played!

Second: Did anyone else notice that like 90-95% of every one of those player writeups made zero mention to exactly where he thought any of these guys would go in the draft? "This guy is going to need to test well." Well, no fucking shit.

Maybe Valai is actually recruiting and going hard after Ibraheem is to why he connected with him over Rushing.

Haven't really heard much on Rushing so far.  Maybe he's the Ron Cooper variety and doesn't like to recruit?  Henson is a dud and Price is useless.  Not sure on new LB coach.

They'll buy some OOS mercanaries in the end that Looch will claim would be top 10 players if they played in Texas.

Rushing is seen as a good recruiter/bagman. Honestly his profile in that regard wasn’t different from Valai’s minus the trainer angle and texas experience.

I do think Texas is pushing furiously there. Ags need to win out with Stowers' teammate and guy who they've sat in a good spot with for a while now. I wouldn't write the Horns off as an afterthought by any stretch of the imagination but A&M is still my pick as fo where he lands.

Let me just say this before any dominoes fall and folks wonder about what the Ags think of these guys. Jahzion Harris is an absolute stud pass rusher as a WDE prospect and sits way up on the A&M board. They're very close here. Very close. The 6-4, 215-pounder holds Ohio State, Michigan and LSU offers and is the No. 2 player in New York.

And the Ags are also in pretty solid shape right now with guys like Terrence Lewis (#2 ranked player in Florida and LSU/Bama as the primary contenders), Kamren Kinchens, WR Yulkeith Brown and RB Amari Daniels out of the Sunshine State.

I was also told by a source from another SEC West program (a top-tier squad) that they love WR Romello Brinson but believe the four-star from Northwestern HS and top-20 player in the state is leaning towards the Ags.

Up north, Pennsylvania DBs Donovan McMillon and lockdown corner Tyreek Chappell - I'm not sure there's a player in the country so under-ranked by the services at this point in time - are both giving a VERY hard look at the Aggies. Defensive tackle Tywone Malone is a national top-50 talent and most believe he's headed to Ohio State. Elijah Robinson is on the case here and, while the Ags will have a very hard time pulling the borderline five-star out of Jersey, few believed they could nab McKinnley Jackson, Fadil Diggs or Donell Harris last year and the Aggies always have a puncher's chance when Elijah Robinson is recruiting an interior defensive line prospect from the northeast.

The Ags are also going to end up being a serious player for Lucedale (MS) George County four-star defender MJ Daniels. The 6-2, 190-pounder is close friends with McKinnley Jackson and a top five prospect in Mississippi currently committed to the Rebels. They're also not bowing out of the race for Missouri commit Connor Tollison, another insanely underrated guy who is going to end up soaring up the rankings. And out west, A&M will get one of Victory Vaka's official visits this fall.

There are several others around the country that the Ags are in regular contact with, including several OOS linebacker targets (all of whom Howell has mentioned regularly) and even Michigan borderline five-star RB Donovan Edwards but the group I mentioned would probably represent some of A&M's best bets right now and it wouldn't surprise me to see a couple of those fall the Ags' way in pretty short order.

We'll talk more about the in-state guys tomorrow and there's some interesting intel there, as well.

I do think Texas is pushing furiously there. Ags need to win out with Stowers' teammate and guy who they've sat in a good spot with for a while now. I wouldn't write the Horns off as an afterthought by any stretch of the imagination but A&M is still my pick as fo where he lands.

Ah yes, the always funny 3/5th of a person joke. Definitely something you should try to work in at every opportunity even when it has nothing to do with the conversation. Always triggers those stupid snowflakes who believe treating black people as less than human is wrong.

Jimbo is 11-9, i.e. 10-10, against non G5/FCS teams at aggy being outscored on average per game. This is why it's hilarious that aggy keeps thinking they are due for a break out season.

It gets much worse against ranked teams at the time they played them.

3-7*

Outscored on average 24.5 to 34.8, their wins were a 6 point OT win at home against Kentucky. A 2 point 7 OT officiated disaster at home against LSU. A 3 point win over an Oklahoma State team that was missing their starting QB best offensive weapon in Wallace, and somehow decided this was the game to limit the carries of Hubbard.

In a properly officiated LSU game the average margin of defeat moves to 19.5 to 30.7, yes tell me aggy how you expect to challenge for the West division again?

Don't forget that Kentucky team had a QB that couldn't complete a forward pass.

Oklahoma State also missed 2 FG's in addition to not having those players.  Hubbard was averaging like 8 yards a carry against that big bad SEC West defense, but Gundy went all retard only giving him limited carries.

Quick to ban. No negativity allowed. It ruins the recruiting pitch.

Georiga is still the leader as of about 10 days ago. But surprise surprise, LSU is right there. aTm, less so.

If aTm is going to land Johnson, the schools he prefers are going to have to fill up fast at RB with elite talent, AND aTm is probably going to have to come up with some cash.

"Despite the rumblings that Johnson's attention has turned elsewhere, our sources are indicating that the price is too steep for the ags the staff has shifted their attention to a hidden gem hailing from New Brunswick."

NYC has a couple of bluechips every year - plenty of outer borough high schools have football and there's a shitload of people.

Just this year, this kid played for Poly Prep in Brooklyn:

Well, he's the polar opposite of their cube life.  247 (Dohn) trying to fudge his numbers with him listed at 215 on his profile. He was 198 pounds at the opening with 4.62 shuttle. He's going to have to add ~45 pounds minimum and keep that lateral quickness to be effective, even as simply an edge rusher. It's much more likely that as he adds any weight at all his lateral quickness and explosion will go away and he'll be a body. He's reminds me of a far less productive version of Jeremiah Martin, the aggy DE from Cali that had 26 sacks as a SR in high school at around 225 pounds, who is now a 262 pound jag for aggy.

Started out 85th in the country in August 2018 and has steadily fallen to 208th in the country and counting. I’m sure none of those tOSU, LSU, UM offers are committbale. This is classic aggy recruiting playbook under Jimbo. Pay for an overrated 4 star from OOS that all the regional powers have passed on.
